If you stay in Potong Pasir, make a trip to dr ng visit and try something interesting:
With all the media present, ask him how does he think A-Chiam is doing.
In public, he will have to reply in a positive note for A-Chiam and if he is smart enough, he will continue by adding that sito will be able to do more than A-Chiam.
Here is the trick. Be smarter than him. Once he finish commenting about A-Chiam and just before he can start his add-on about sito, say "thank you for your comment" and immediately ask another non-revelant question to cut off his addon.
Have another friend take a video of your interview. It will be interesting to see his expression when you cut him off.

Maybe Mr Chiam have enough of politics after so many years of fighting.
He understand that if he step down, the residents of Potong Pasir will get the fringe benefits of paint job and life upgrade that they have missed after so many years.
Furthermore, he does not have any successor to replace him in the last few opposition ward in Singapore.
The minister is there to bring good news to the residents on what is the benefit if they choose the right party to rule them.

Originally posted by Salman:The question in the residents' mind now is, did Chiam perform a good role as an opposition in parliament and MP for PP?
Would the benefit of better estate care be worth the change to PAP?
Chiam is getting old and less energetic. Where is his successor? He has done his best for PP. Upgraded many facilities and repaint a few block including mine.
Thank You Mr Chiam See Tong
