How to vote for opposition if the residents don't know who they are as that means they don't know the residents!
In a small country like Singapore, it is all too easy for us to be a target for our bigger neighbouring countries. If we kana the wrong type of people in the Parliament, we will regress to the 60's where racial fights and civil unrest was like happening every other day.
If THAT really happens, then all NSmen will be mobilized 24/7.

becus there are too many tv stations in taiwan owned by different companies. each of them will try to broadcast the juiciest news to win viewership. it's competition. in singapore, all is owned by mediacorp.
during channel U time is the same isnt it? it the whole press. media that is being control and censor to decide what we singaporean can hear, listen or learn.
during of my business trip in china. i am surprise one of the CCTV channel program that discuss about the unique politically scene here in singapore. any of those ppl are def. much better than those i had seen attending CNA forums with the minister or PM. which their question are screen and censor before being allow to ask the PM. in fact nowadays in china , there are more politcally engaging programs which you hardly see in our democratic singapore.
its a karma. the reason why the PAP is finding hard to get ppl join the politics is because of the repercussion of lawsuit against opposition. politically ignorance /no interest citizens due to limited exposure to media/press on politcally objective views.
that why the only way they can keep going is to buy ppl who believe in their agenda. that why they are paid millions to be minister.

PAP has been wining the election for so many donkey years. My point of view is even running a business or playing a game, everyone will face some set backs or even losing the business or a game. it is actually quite impossible to not lose. Now we are talking about running a country, totally no set backs or problems? I don’t think so. Always using the same old cheating way to get your way out ? I think it will backfire in the future

Can the World excuse such a sentence to ever be acceptable rather than illegal since it was such a horribly inhumane act causing two children a life time of painful memory.
Concluding the act illegal then both her family and her nation are owed a very substantial claim in damages. This should be addressed urgently
Limited liability does not necessarily protect you where criminal factors may be involved. Perhaps not only The Government of Singapore but also its Ministers should be held personally liable for failing to avoid life taking mis-carriages of justice especially if they introduced the law that caused the risk of life to be lost this way in the first instance (whenever the first case of this happening was). yes, you are right. And WP never disciplined Gomez for fraud. Tells us a lot about them doesn't it?
If I were Low Thia Kiang, I would disciplne Gomez and made it public. Low didn't have the moral courage to do it and thereby missed an opportunity to strengthen the opposition. This tells me he could have foreknowledge of the scam.
