    • Hello,

This is the 1st of a series of puzzles I am preparing to post here in SGForums.

Hope you can help give some answers.

your answer should consider the following:

      1. this TALENT must not depend on party connections, inheritance, relatives to achieve earnings more than what he earned when he was in the 'white circle'.

      2. this TALENT must not be working in Public sector nor in GLCs nor quasi-gubberment firms, after he exited the 'white circle'.

      3. this TALENT must have drawn ar least $150K a month of salary (basic) before he went on his own into the Private Sector.

Are you CAPABLE of answering this simple puzzle?

I heard that if money many many not paid to Talents,
they can easily earn more elsewhere.

Thus, it should not take long to nail this puzzle.

Lets just see, who can come up the 1st correct answer!!

      cheers! Twisted Evil

    • Looks like there are many unanswerable or unanswered questions possible.

Please wait for my 2nd Puzzle.

I hope at least that someone here can answer.

      But I doubt....

    • Okay, PUZZLE #1 is about to come to a final conclusion and an end.

So far, there is surprisingly no one in this forum knows who earned more after exit public sector.

I may have to call in the national guards to help me find the answer. too tough for the forummers . They have no clues.

This is the truth you cannot deny.

A secondary question is how many of our current batch of ministers have really earned 1-3 million dollars pa before they became ministers.

More likely than not all before they became ministers they were only earning much less than S$300,000.00 pa and after paying income tax they probably got much less. So by becoming ministers they became rich. Even assuming they stay back in the private sector it is only the exception that anyone of them will ever get such salaries as a million dollar unless they have become successful entrepreneurs like Sim Wong Hoo or Simon Cheong. Therefore it is not true that we the people have to pay million dollars to attract people like Goh Chok Tong, Wong Kang Seng, Jayakumar, or Lim Boon Heng to attract such persons to join politics. Why is MM Lee doing this then? It is very simple, he has to pay them high in order to control them or else he could not get their obedience to carry out all this wishes to serve his own narrow agenda.

Any salaries like $300,000.00 pa could easily attract many good and committed people. It is only when the top leaders are broad-minded and prepared to respect talents and independent of thought and teamwork that he can attract talent not salaries.

If the fact is all or nearly all the current ministers did not get any pays higher than $300,000.00 pa before they were invited to join politics there is no justification to pay ministers million dollars to attract them to do so.

It is all an issue of leadership quality of the PM or the supreme leader in charge not the amount of salaries which will attract true passionate people to take up the challenge of joining politics.

It is proven that MM Lee's assumption about the need to pay ministers more to attract them to join politics is unsubstantiated and totally baseless.

    • yes, agree. Based on my humble knowledge,
I do not know of anyone in this forum who knows of such person exist past and present that they share this info in this forum.

This puzzle will be like the puzzle # 2 to go down in 2007 as questions not fully and clearly without any doubt whatsoever answered, i suspect.

Rest assured, the Reddressman will, for the sake of the PEOPLE, persist to question what needs to be questioned. This is called free public service.
