    • Now that he has won the Iowa caucuses ... there is a possibility that he might be the next President of the United States of America.

Who is he and will he be another Clinton (pro economic health) or pro Idealism (human rights, labor rights, spread the wealth) President?

... start googling and share the insights you learn...

Its hard to say who would win the Presidency but it is surely a close race between Obama and Clinton as the people have had enough of the Republicans.Like Singapore the USA needs some serious change and since the Clintons have already been in the Whitehouse for 8 years, they should give Obama a chance to lead the country.Nobody should believe a politician more than 66.6% but the World can definitely trust Obama's words more than Hillary Clinton's.

    • He is the black guy lor..

Apparently he is a good speaker with charisma, which lead analyst to wonder if he has any substance as a President. On the other hand, Hillary have a tad more experience including the backing of her husband. Regardless, her aide is one hot woman and there were rumours Clinton having an affair with her aide.

However, I think that the Americans are not ready for a woman or a black as president.

    • Assume that Hilary Clinton is out. The ladies can call me a male chauvinist pig. I don't care.

      The controversy of Barak Obama.

      Let's look at some facts.

First off, Senator Obama denies that he is a Muslim.

According to the family of Obama's late step-father, he was a non-practicing Muslim who loved women and alcohol. In fact, he died of several health complications, one of which was a deteriorated liver from excessive alcohol consumption, hardly the image of a pious Muslim.

Senator Obama did spend time in a Muslim country and undoubtedly had many Muslim friends growing up. He has been to a mosque and even learned about Islam for two hours each week at school.

Barack Obama’s middle name is “Hussein”

Obama has noted in his two books, "Dreams From My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope," that he spent two years in a Muslim school and another two years in a Catholic school while living in Indonesia from age 6 to 10.

Some Americans’ views: The loyalty of ANY Muslim to the U.S., in any governmental capacity, is a genuine and realistic concern. The stakes are much too high — especially in this time of war with Islam

    • I watched some of his videos. He seems to be a very talented orator.

He comes across as a person with strong conviction, intelligent, honest, and able to bring people from diverse background to achieve a common goal.

These two videos give some insights on some policy issues he would attend to if he was the next president.

There was a question on his perceived lack of experience in running a country (in part 2) and i think he has answered it very well.

    • my bet would be on a republican presidency next term...no doubt many want change including the republicans, but i believe a good number still cannot accept either a black or a woman in the white house...the democrats best hope is edwards but clearly he won't be getting the party nomination...

obama is likeable, but too greenhorn...hilary is a turn-off, overly aggressive and has the persona of the cold calculated lady boss from hell....either of these 2 will get the nomination to run against the republican...

it will not be so much about what the republican can offer but if the democrat can persuade the 'mainstream' to overlook either skin or gender....

    • Clinton will probably clinch the nomination. Unless all the college students come out and vote for Obama.

on a different note, look out for Ron Paul in the New Hampshire primaries.
I think McCain will win the Republican nomination but I secretly hope Paul will instead. Ron Paul is the only honest guy among all the candidates on both sides, and he really talks about what's important. All the other 9-11, abortion, religion, immigrations issues are just populist issues that sound fanciful.

And I love the fact that Ron Paul reminds me of my GP in toapayoh. Smile

but alas, corporate greed will keep him out of the race because he doesn't suck up to the lobbists.....hence his lack of funds to mount his campaign....

    • Clinton, Obama Clash in Personal Terms

By JIM KUHNHENN – 2 hours ago

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton clashed Sunday in the slushy New Hampshire homestretch, deriding each others' claims to be the true candidate of change. Clinton told Democratic voters they should elect "a doer, not a talker." Obama countered that his critics are stuck in the politics of the past.

At a raucous rally in a high school gymnasium in Nashua, Clinton skewered Obama for several votes he has cast in the Senate, such as his vote in favor of the Patriot Act and for energy legislation she described as "Dick Cheney's energy bill." She never mentioned Obama's name but left no doubt about whom she was discussing.

"You campaign in poetry, you govern in prose," Clinton said.

Obama, speaking at a packed Manchester theater, took issue with Clinton's criticism of him during Saturday's Democratic presidential debate.

"One of my opponents said we can't just, you know, offer the American people false hopes about what we can get done," he said.

"The real gamble in this election is to do the same things, with the same folks, playing the same games over and over and over again and somehow expect a different result," he said. "That is a gamble we cannot afford, that is a risk we cannot take. Not this time. Not now. It is time to turn the page."

I love American politics... they leave no stones unturned.

    • Googled and found this piece of information.

Would you work for Hillary knowing these facts?
So you want to work for the Clintons?

Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many
      "friends" of the Clintons.

1-James McDougal - Clinton's convicted Whitewater partner died of an
apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key
      witness in Ken Starr's investigation.

2 -Mary Mahoney - A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a
Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown . The murder happened just after she
was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.

3- Vince Foster - Former White House counselor and colleague of Hillary
Clinton at Little Rock's Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the
      head, ruled a suicide.

4- Ron Brown - Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to
have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the
investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown's skull
resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being
investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with
prosecutors. The rest of the people on the plane also died. A few days

died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped
her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in
      several Clinton fund raising events.

8-Jerry Parks -Head of Clinton's gubernatorial security team in Little
Rock. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little
Rock. Park's son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton. He
allegedly threatened to reveal this information.
After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his
      house.

9-James Bunch - Died from a gunshot suicide. It was reported that he had
a "Black Book" of people which contained names of influential people who

Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible
      corroborating witness for Paula Jones.

    • instead of asking who is Obama, I think maybe the right question to ask is why is Obama so hot!

there are 2 possible underlining movement that come out from US election.

      1) changes of status quo from traditional political party
      2) new generation of voters wants things done differently

so this movement will continue ......oversea.

    • Being first in the Iowa caucuses does not guarantee a win in the general elections.
The candidate still has to win the party’s nomination.

A research by Wiki indicates that past presidents didn't win the Iowa caucuses but went on to win the presidency.

The president is also the supreme commander(or 5 star general) if America goes to war.

Perhaps the Democrats will nominate John Edwards.

    • If Obama wins New Hampshire, he will have what is known as 'momentum'. Meaning money will pour in, to support his candidacy.

Bush, with his, 'I get instructions from God' is turning people off big time, in my opinion.

If getting as far away from another Bush in the presidency, and getting as far away as possible is what Americans want, then Obama (black) and Hillary (woman) is as far away from another Bush as you can get.

Obama and Edwards is clearly sensing that is what Americans want and is hitting Hillary hard as 'another insider' and therefore, another one that is too similar to Bush, compared to themselves.

If Hillary wins the nomination and people really want change, then a woman might just win the presidency. What can be more of a change than to put a woman in the white house?
