This is a trend towards healthcare privatization...if you're a rich man like YTL chairman...best healthcare here here in SG....but if you working class one need to ask whether or not operation is available if your health fails...
So are SG ready for such a system??Are we really covered??

To me it seems that your argument proposes the importance of people buying sufficient healthcare insurance coverage with a reputable insurance company.
I think the responsibility of the Government can be expected to extend only to policing these insurance companies and hospitals to ensure that we, the citizens, don't get cheated by either of them. And where to report these when it happens.
And perhaps assisting to educate the public on how these work so we know our rights.
