    • With Singapore a lots of things in hand and its such a small country.. Doing so many things at a time. etc casino, youth 2010. are they able to focus all together at one go?

Are they able to deliver both the planned stadium and the casino in time? if so.. where are all the extra income going to come from? manpower, material? another increase on the GST? will that really solve the problem?

True that there will be sponsor but how much can they support on 3 huge projects?

While I have a philosophy that is totally alien to the discussion going on here... I can't help chiming in.

A diversified portfolio works better then investing in just one stock. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. etc etc.

AFAIK, Genting International issue rights and bank borrowing to fund their Genting project. While LV Sands took up sydicate loans to fund their investment at Marina Bay

I also know that the goverment has pocketed a few billions from issuing the casino licenses and awarding the 2 plots of lands to casino operator.

Plus I believe the IR projects have resurrected Singapore property market in a great way and that has resulted in higher collection in stamp fees and property taxes for government, plus receiving higher bids for stateland
