The logic behind MM Lee's comments is flawed. By bringing in foreign talent to replace our 'brain drain', he says there will be a net gain, because many Indian and Chinese use SG as a stepping stone to other places. But this number is less than those who will stay.
Why isn't he (and the govt) addressing the root cause of the brain drain? Why are locals prefering to stay abroad? It seems exhorbitant pay for high office isn't enough to retain local talent in public service.
In any case, the smarter ones will get the big picture once they're exposed to globalisation; it's surely better to work overseas than in the local scene if the opportunity arises. There aren't many incentives to stay, especially if one's family is mobile.

I will you 2 years later if I succeed. I've been working on it for a while now, but time is limited due to being in the graduating year. It is about taking a few old and workable concepts, and combining into a new style.

no worries man. u are young, take your time. I have to get out before hitting 40. we have not heard of 50 years old IT engineer in SG eh?
so far no. but im bigger than most of them. if i hear some hoons shouting like that at me, i will roar and tear my shirt, "LETS PARTY!"
but they are damn critical about your language capability. once u speak like singlish, they will go "huh huh huh?" all the time, so i need to slang which isnt my core at this time.

Smart People Leave Singapore
They know what sort of country Singapore is.
They are not hoodwinked by the propaganda media.
They know what sort of life they are expected to live in Singapore.
They don't like the way society has developed through PAP rule.
They have no illusions whatsoever about the PAP regime.
They have the resources to get out of Singapore.
They are motivated to get out.
Kudos to Chee Soon Juan.
He is more aware of all of the above than anybody.
But he is not motivated to leave.
He despises the system, yes.
But he wants to change the system instead of leave the system.
You have earned my respect Dr Chee.
