Older generation are in fact the more politically active Singaporeans in the 1950s and 60s.
PAP had to really fight in elections to win their support, not like the charade we have now.
The post 1965 generation, which grew up under the one party hegemony of PAP are less politically active.
Partly due to propaganda and partly due to the education system.

i strongly suspec that they are the 66.6 %
i suspect that could be cos they received info from only one source - the gahmen-controlled media. other sources of info were not so easily available to them. with the internet the younger generation has become better informed and thus not so easily brainwashed by others.
