Whoever is the Home Affair Minister, if he is talented, he should have solved such a problem long long time ago.

He should have the higher calibre of intelligence to see that no matter what was the original rationale of allowing prostitution any spreading of the problem will be bad for our society.

If he takes the view that prostitution is unavoidable given the nature of man, he should long ago also come to the conclusion that any lack of control to prevent spread will lead to greater problems down the road.

Those ladies are probably 'working' as GRO in those pubs located along Duxton Road and Duxton Hill. Its very common. The main reason why you can find them standing along the roads mention is to 'attract' men ( customers ) to their pubs where they are working. Its so common these days. And they are mostly ( 99.99% ) from Philippines. They are harmless.... trust me.

There are other similar pubs in Orchard Towers. And some areas in Chinatown too. The MP never been to Joo Chiat meh? Same mah. Just that instead of pinoy, u find vietnamese gals there in some pubs. This was a tool to firmly gripe on to power. From 3 to a team went 4 and then 5. there's no end. It was just like the implemtation of GST. from 3 went to 4-5 and then 7%. there's no stopping to it now

He has put his point across, that vice outside Geylang is on the rise. Doesn't matter whether he really saw pros along Duxton Road or not. They can assemble a contingent of chiko pek to tour the island to pick out hotspots, if the govt is serious.
