    • if you realise, our prime minister has been missing in action since last week.

he's not made a public appearance ever since the mas selamat incident, nor has he made any comments about it.

the last time he appeared in the press is a photo of him shaking hands with brazilian foreign minister last thursday.

as far as i know he's not in parliament for budget debate.

this is so suspicious. government is trying to conceal something of great magnitude. information about mas selamat is released bit by bit, first one photo, then another. first he's 160cm, now he's 158cm. first he's limp, now he's sometimes limp. and now they release pictures of his attire.

where is the prime minister to explain all these?

    • ... oh I believ he's waiting for WKS to recapture MSK first then shows his face...

... it's always like this; any screw ups, he'll disappear...

... only to reappear to take credits or deliver some Psycho Babble when things calmed down...

... and only when he wants to increas GST or Ministerial Salaries, he'll show his face to tell you how it is all for our good...

    • Yes, that is strange, Prime Minister Lee should come out and assure the public.

This whole event is kept in secrey since the beginning, I don't trust the mainstream media coverage of this event, since they are controlled by the state and not independent. They also play down the incident, they don't play up.

Mr Wang criticises the Commission of inquiry to probe JI terrorist's escape:

    • I heard a rumour of how that terrorist escaped... Apparently, the toilet thing is hogwash...

      >>>The real deal is that they were taking him around in a van to another facility when he suddenly somehow managed to work his way to open the door and jump out of the moving van... thats why he got that limp. The van driver was the one who gave that testimonial. <<<

Damn it, I was convinced at one point or the other... Toilet escapes are too cliche... Prison Break anyone !!!

    • as they always say sg so small....want to find 1 person can easily do so....especially with the avaliable resources and manpower...

yet...we have our own Michael Scoffield still in action, almost after a week.

    • Alleged Michael Scofield leaped off the van and injured his knees and escaped... the idea sounds more viable then some random toilet bullshit... Because seriously, a detention centre has like armed guards and electric fence (I assume) and all the necessary security precautions...And they can think of such a story whereby he escaped whilst peeing... Seriously... they must be thinking we lapping it up on their stories... like how a cat laps up milk man...

Personally for me, I believe the van story... At least it sounds far more exciting cause he must have knocked out the guards and everything. Definitely more believable than screwing off the toilet covers and escaping via the sewer duct.

Someone gotta ask those lackeys to wake up their ideas man. We do not need brainless people who cant even think of a better story other then a prison break re-make. I wont be surprised if this story turned out to be true (van one).

    • When your son broke the vase in the shop, of course you hide unless you want to pay.

LHL wait for the case to settle before appearing otherwise he will face live firing.

    • maybe LHL should the next missing man to be searched for.

singapore media really too useless. even if they see him in parliament i doubt they'll dare to step forward and ask him for comments. he's so conspicuously missing also don't report.

    • i remember sometime back he call the opposition A team. A for AWOL.

i wonder is he doing the same thing? so next time there is war in sg, he is the first to run away??

after this incident is over, i can expect the news to say that he was away visiting when the incident happened. or he did not know something happen till he came back to singapore.

i never know that our PM never carry a phone. icon_lol.gif

Singapore mainstream media is not useless, it's just that they are controlled by the state, so they cannot criticise the state, cannot disagree with the state, cannot oppose the state, cannot have views different from the state, cannot report on negative things about the state.

They are just a propaganda tool of the state.

That is why I want the media industry to be freed.

      Now nothing but state propaganda.

It's boring living in a state with media being controlled by the state to serve its agenda.

Look at Taiwan's media, so lively.
