    • Our communist PAP government is being cornered. After the fall of Communist Russia,Eastern socialist nations like Poland,East Germany etc,are fallen as well.

There after, dictatorial ruling countries like Philipphines,Indonesia,Taiwan, are also fall to the hand of democracy. Now,our neighbour country,Malaysia, are also becoming to a more democracy country.

It only left our communist country,Singapore, still in the hand of the Lee family.I am sure its going to fallen too,by then, our “dragon prince” Lee Hsien Loong will be left being jobless.Muahaha!!!

    • True; as I mentioned, what happened in Malaysia may not happen wholesale here.

However, one interesting note is that Singapore now remains the last and only country where an elected ruling party holds sway on more than 90% of the seats :)

Just a few days ago, Malaysia and Singapore shared this "honour" :) (Singapore 97%, Malaysia 91%)

      Regards

I hope that Lee Kuan Yew goes soon.

If PAP got some internal conflict, samething will happen too. Imagine if another "Anwar" forced to leave government and PAP.

    • Hard doesnt mean impossible, nothing can remain unchanged forever.Besides, does our PAP leaders prefer step down themselves or forcing Singaporeans to revolt and kill their whole family members? They can choose,no problem.^^

well , you can;t deny the changes the opposition have being making has being smart and reassuring for now, stocks and investors confidence will always go down when there is an unexpected major shift in the change of governemtn and power, tats expected.. as for Anwar, i guess everyone would all just be sitting back to see how things will fare in the
next couple of months and if he meant what he really meant when he said the opposition believes in equality for all in malaysia in regardless or race...if he & the opposition keeps their words, then it really is a new beginning of a new era for the malaysians...

    • Lets see how long will the Opps in Malaysia last......

If in the Next 5 years, nothing much happen in Opps wards (Penang being one of them)..... there might be a big return to BN.

Already the Opps is having some problems agreeing on some issue. Anwar called the Opps as ''The Govt In Waiting''..... I'll believe it if they could work together for the Next 5 years......

yes, but on the bright side, this might be the wake up call BN needed to place their priority back to the people and not to their cronies and themselves......

No one in MY, from the most optimistic opposition to the most astute political analyst, expected BN to lose its two thirds majority.

    • I would rather stick to Abdullah Badawi. Mahatir style of autocratic ruling is over. Anwar is a gay and corrupted ex convict, I can’t imagine if he come back as PM of Malaysia. Total Chaos will be the outcome. No Singapore should not plunged into the type of opposition that Malaysia is in now, its not democracy but protest votes carried to the extreme and scared off foreign investors.

      Agree somewhat.......

At least PM Badawi won't be like Dr M...... and try now to blame S'pore for something to try get the spotlight away from himself..... Water Supply, Malaysian CPF, Airspace over JB, New Causeway over JB..... etc.
