pros and cons to have communist govt. Look at china, in a way they are better than PAP OK! They bother to take care of the nation by giving them pension and free transport for old people, do PAP do the same to us here? PAP treat us all as money sucking machines.

Basically, sinkaporeans are conservative and have been brainwashed by PAP about such thing so they can't accept even peaceful protest. Many are indeed happily living within the fence set by PAP. Sometimes I think some of them deserve the way of PAP.

first you gripe about what's being done to the SDP protesters when a few of them are manhandled by the police ... okie, fine ... admirable .... I may even support you on that one, if not for the miserable acting i saw on the videos .... then you now say, no, there's no violence against the protesters in tibet .... and that no one has the right to interfere ..... hello ... the tibetans are not protesting for the fun of it .... again ... double standards ? ... you got agitated when the SPF removes a few chaps away from the streets ... but you get agitated AGAINST others who speak out when tibetan protesters get killed ? ....

It is clear that over 10 civilians died in the riots recently but I question if you know how those people were killed? just because they are civilians does not mean they were killed by police. The way I see it, those who died of multiple wounds are likely to be killed by mobsters rather than police. -

is that what you have to say to those pictures now ? ... that they were likely killed from mobsters rather than police ? ....
this must be a disturbing development ... I didn't know the " mobsters" were equipped with guns, to produce what looks like gunshot wounds ..... are you going to say the mobsters are starting an armed insurgency now ? ....
I'm waiting and hopping for more pictures to turn up .... but of course ... with the ban on journalists travelling to the area, and the news black out imposed by the chinese authorities, any news that gets release would have been "vetted" by the chinese authorities from now on .... which suits your tastes just fine i believe ....
