the Youth Olympic is going to be politicised in PAP's favour if the election is held in 2010.
On the cyber politic front, the government will surely study the impact of it in Malaysia and use it to its advantage. It is not likely to ban it, given how things are shaping and how bad China looked when it attempts to censor internet sites, etc. now. It will also place considerable resources to over represent itself on the net. that I am pretty sure.
And my other guess is, things will pretty much stays the same. PAP will steamroll the election by whatever means, people with a voice will still be sidelined and opposition will not gain much foothold. If anything else, Potong Pasir will be there for the taking as I don't think Chiam can maintain his ward. It is a case of spirit is willing but the flesh is not.
Singapore is at least 10-15 years away for any meaningful political revolution to happen.

The IR and Circle Line will definitely be in the books too. Both are slated to have full completion at a time period quite close to the next GE too.
