    • teeth.png Never knew that I have the same reason to watch CNA. I like Suzanne Jung and Yvonne Yong.

Overall, it is informative about Asia.

    • too bad, it doesn't present the views of asian countries on political issues, all mostly USA views.

No DPRK news also, my favourite country.

    • I think CNA may want to avoid touching on or meddling with neighbouring Asian nations since MediaCorp is state-owned. That's why there is not much of TV debate like we see on most news networks. But CNA does sometimes produce analytical scoops on important events like China's economy, Thailand politics or Taiwan's election. But it's okay since I also watch Al Jazeera, which is on the same satelite, CCTV-4 & 9, BBC, Phoenix (Feng Huang Zixuntai), and Australia Network to balance my view.

They don't want to promote political interest lah.

    • CNA is no different from any of our local media, CNA like any other media is well controlled by PAP.   CNA is excellent in the involvement in propaganda.   For eg. when the 2% GST hike kicked off, CNA reported that no shoppers, no retailers were affected.   This is a great lie.

    • Asia news mostly. Think the amount of news babes kind of compensate for the lack of dashing newscaster.
