LKY had said that once we have economic progress, then we will be ready for for democracy. Singapore is now a first world nation, so it is time to end despotism and establish a truly democratic system here. It is timeto change in the next election. Pls help to spread this message.

If you listen to all his public speeches, it's extremely charismatic, you will be charged up by his speech.
Is he a man of his words, he promised Swiss standard of living, till today I still can't see the resemblance between Switzerland and Singapore.
Words are cheap, don't place too much weight on it.

Actually quite alot of these frightened electorates belong to the older generation. They fear repercussions, talked to quite a few, they seemed resigned to their fate.But surely and slowly as these older generation die off, the results will change. Haven't we seen the result improve dramatically during the last election.
That's why these days you see the MIW learning hip hop to try get into the good books of the younger generation.
