    • I am very interested in this person..

He has been sued many times by the PAP and is now a bankrupt. So where does he get the money for daily expenses such as food, bills etc? Is he currently working? Does he have a wife, kids or parents to support?

    • If the sg garmen is the Three Kingdom's CaoCao, this CSJ is the modern LiuBei. I respect him.

Come next election, my vote will go to somebody who deserved it more.

    • I am not for or against any side.

Politic is a dirty game and politician has to know how this game is played or at least know how to hide the dirt inside.

    • Heard he is a lecturer?

I would say that CSJ is more like Sun Quan, almost as good as Liu Bei not as respected.

Well, there was a rumor that was spreading around since some years back about him.

Recently, he successfully proven that someone was inaccurate.

    • Yes he is married and have several children.

      I read an interview before.

He said he support himself and his family by selling his books.

He will go out on a street and hawk the books to passer-bys.

Actually u can catch a glimpse of this activity several times on YouTube videos of him.

Erm....Im not sure whether he has other sources of funding....my feeling is maybe he has. Maybe there are sympathizers and supporters who sent him financial aid. But this is only my speculation, he didnt say it.

      Meat Pao.

    • he stands out against unfair policies and the government, which many singaporeans do not dare to do. Yes, i admit his methods may be wrong(making a big hoo ha and getting painted by the media as a lunatic) but this fellow, is highly educated could have had a comfortable life with his income, can continue living in peace in the United States but chose to come back to singapore to fight against autocracy. And in the process, gets bankrupted, lives in a 3 room flat, and barely making ends meet in order to support his wife and 2 kids. All this just to liberate us singaporeans.

    • i remembered what PM Goh had said about sg quitters and praised those singaporeans that are loyal and fought for their rights on in SG, coining them as "par see buay zao".

now see what they have done to GN, CSJ, JBJ and those that dare to stand up for the rights of singaporeans?

      hypocrisy man, absolutely hypocrisy.

    • Bold men never fail to be noticed by the lesser. He's not a fool for standing up. He is bold. Never compromise with evil.

The primary goal is not to after power or even to oust the Lees but to capture the heart of the people. After the people's heart CSJ men can only be silenced and deprived of freedom for so long.

    • in my opinion, the lee family could have the honour now, but when he dead, i think he will be remember as a villians.

CSJ on the other hand, could be remember as heros in future singapore generation.

to me, the Lee family are like stalin, chiang kai shek, mao zedong. ppl who rule with a iron fist and died on a high. look at what the current generation think of them now.

Are you sure that he has a 3 room flat?

I think as a bankrupt, he is required to sell all his properties to pay..

    • The property might not be under his name?

Anyway as for hero, I keep my reservations about that. This guy feels he is a freedom fighter. To qualify as one, you would need someone or some group to free. Who is he trying to free, Singaporeans? I am a Singaporean, born, raised, educated, served NS and work in Singapore. I dunno, but I do not feel enslaved or repressed. Anyway, time and again, even b4 he was declared bankrupt, neither himself nor anyone from his party had won in elections. So talking about support.... erm. Does the ppl he seeks to "free", actually needs him to "free" them?

End of day, he is no lim bo seng or martin luther king.

Because you have never crossed your path to a Lee.

They are villains relying on lies and the IMH. The word to describe them best is assholes.

    • Yes, he is just 1 man vs the entire gov.

      David vs Goliath

Chee , like all people, is not Perfect.

Why should he be perfect when no one is perfect?

Although I do not declare myself a supporter of Chee,

neither do I declare myself not a supporter of Chee,

it is still the truth that without Chee, the political scene here would be much less vibrant and minorities' / majorities' voices may not be heard as clearly.

He is an activist and that is what activists do. What else do people expect him to do?

In this world - there is a lot of people in western world - like australia or US that contribute funds to the so call "oppressed". They contribute huge funds for them to fight for freedom !!!

You just have to get arrested and sued ... then you go oversea to give speech on how oppressed you are in your country - in some hall or rich man private parties .... then you get huge sum of money to support you in your fight :) !!!

    • Chee Soon Chuan challenged PAP for a one by one fight and was granted in Macphersion. PAP Yao Chih gave him a big punch and he was knockout. Chee, a loser claimed PAP was playing dirty and said he don't want to play the game anymore because he felt the the rules  of game is not fair to him, he want to fight with PAP in the street.

Actually LiuBei is known to be Envied by CaoCao becoz even though he is not a good commander, he has so many good generals under him.

Ex president OngTC can only be compared to Kong Rong , the person who is killed by CaoCao for exposing his ideals.

      CSJ is but a sideshow.
