to Sunshine Coast resorts!!
Rebels Motorcycle Gang members relax at Sunshine Coast resorts

THEY might not be ideal guests, but Rebels bikie gang members were warmly welcomed by struggling Sunshine Coast accommodation-providers yesterday.
The tattooed visitors arrived at beachfront resorts in the family-friendly holiday havens of Mooloolaba and Maroochydore.
Small motels, townhouses, high-rise resorts and five-star penthouses were booked solid for the annual get-together.
The barrage of bikies provided much-needed funds for accommodation-providers. High fuel prices, interest rates and economic instability have played havoc with the Coast's tourist trade and prompted many operators to provide cut-price accommodation....
Uninvited guests will include Sunshine Coast police, who labelled the get-together an intelligence-gathering opportunity

I paid about 240k plus for a 2 bed room apartment freehold (not some 99 year lease sh*t) at the fringe of Melbourne CBD. How much are the apartments bordering Orchard road?
How much is the rental of an apartment at the fringe of Orchard Road? You want to compare? I can also compare.
So don't go disparaging anything with your frog in the well croak. Did the Australian immigration department reject your visa application for permanent residency AGAIN?
People , especially Singaporeans , are not stupid. They can make the judgement for themselves on which country is better for them. Some like Singapore. Some want to migrate. If they are stupid to judge a country based on what is said about it in forums, then no one can help them .

You are starting sh*t for no reason. There are alot of us with permanent residency of Australia and we don't go showing it off like you do.
Yes , Australia is better for some of us. Yes , some Singaporeans want to migrate. However , there are always alot of people who want to stay in Singapore because they have a good reason to do so or because they are happy doing what they do. It is their choice to do so and I respect them for it.
Quit your price comparisons and crap. Maybe we have less of people like lionnoisy to deal with in the forums.

You are right, 240K for a 2 bedroom apartment is good, for a property which last u forever and your children will not have to suffer. And 1 more thing, Aus property is not controlled like in sg, when its down its really down and u can plunk in your $$$ for a good deal.

when u compare aus with ingapore, dont compare the superficial stuff, the purchasing power is more in Aus. and during tax break (June) u can get really good serious deals on consumer products. and at times like this the 50 inch HD plasma, good deal...
If u think Aus store prices are higher, check out ebay.com.au...

Melbourne - Carlton area - famous for its little italy image.
Walking distance ( 5 mins from Melbourne Central and St francis Church - go google to see which part of the city it is in - 30 mins to Crown Casino, 10 mins to Chinatown, 20 mins to Parliament House ).
In orchard road, condominiums would cost at least close to a million or more if they have such conveniences.
It was new when I bought it. I was the first occupant.
You are welcome. Improve your comprehension please.

My point was to Lionnoisy.
Your point is? You have to rub Australia into other people's faces, giving LN ammunition. Why do you want to show off about Australia when you should have no justification to do so?
Singapore's land is scarce and hence expensive.Australia is large , land is readily available hence cheaper.

my family in perth, indeed electronics good is cheaper than singapore especially during sales. we always buy our electronics good during sales. even some of our groceries are buy during sales.
the sales in aust are really discounts from normal price. unlike in singapore where they shed only cents.
it boil down to the operating cost of business here in singapore.
Not labour cost, but more on rental cost.
