Q : Did it surprise you that Thai army chief Gen Sonthi and the coup leader few weeks ago said every phone call in Thailand has been monitored by Singapore?
A (Dr M): I wouldn't be surprised because that's the kind of things they do.
Q : You mean they eavesdrop on friends ?
A : Yes they do, they even spy on friends.
Q :That happens to Malaysia too?
A : Yes, one of my political secretaries was removed and detained because he was known to be associated with somebody from Singapore. Of course, Singapore denied, but our police believe that he was passing information.
Q : But why wire-tapping friends? Neighbours shouldn't do this to each other,
A : Well, but we find friends do tap and listen to what friends talk about, but I think Singapore does it in a much more offensive kind of way,.....2.Dr M could removed Anwar for his own interest.
Would Dr M detained the innocent political secetary just to blacken
SG?

just read the "Mahathir supports Thailand in S'pore row" article and realised how hypocritical Dr M is. One moment he says Singapore is not a good friend as we only think of ourselves. Another moment he said "Although he(Thaksin) has said I was his friend and he wants to follow my way, many of his ways are not my way" and The former Malaysian leader said he would welcome a meeting with Thaksin only if the former Thai premier asked for it - but then quickly downplayed the idea, saying: "I don't have anything to discuss with him."

The incident that Dr M referred to is some time back actually, what he neglected to mention was that Malaysia probably did spy on SG that time too. Fact is that all countries do that, and since when was Dr M a friend anyway? Seems like he’s just adding fuel to the fire in a bid to keep his political career alive.

Spying is nothing new !
Almost every country should have a intelligent unit to SPY different Country of some valuable information that could protect their own country . USA and Russia had the biggest SPY units if you want to talk east then China also have , if not why one of the Strait time employee base on China can be found spying by China ?
But to an extend as some form of leader complaining without any base of truth that's not right , where is their responsibility ? but what the hack it is dr. m complaining . ha ha ha ha and ahhhhhhh .......what to do ?

Ya sometime we call it a third world or a first world situation .
But human is human , human are make of warm blood , most got feeling one . but all have different perspective and thinking . Sometime it's just a question for other's to do brian storm and sometime it's just a brianless speech .

The paper is from thailand...... not going to make life easy for us..... Dr M also only trying to keep his ''stock'' up..... lest people start to forget about him......
