    • No leh, some said it was a wonderful experience.

You don't see planes flying crazily..etc, but I think last year was more exciting as you can see the A380.

    • be well prepared for those who intends to make the last minute rush to the last day of the airshow.... bring hat, bring water, bring foldable stool and bring your tickets...(you cannot buy ticket at the site.. get it from the SAM machines)

if some of the information i have recieved thus far indicates... there is gonan be a tsunami of humans... today alone got 40,000... that is a cool 800,000 dollar clean profit for the organizers.....in terms of tickets sold.

check out the boeing booth for the cool F-15SG cap/calender/stickers (i heard its available only at certain timing... check with the staff)

the isrealis booth got the best presentation... and the prettiest presenter... that attracts hordes of crowd and draw many claps from the audience...

most importantly... dont miss the black knights display....

    • i think its up to the individuals opinion.... i just visited some foreign forums... and boy they were praising us off the roof... some malaysian even took the time to cross the causeway, join the long queue...  took hundreds of pictures.... and jumping with joy....

apparently... it boils down to what is your real interest... and whether your interest (lack of it) is worth the time and money spent is on such a trip.

    • as i said... it depends on your interest... if your interest is solely on the sukoi... then it aint your kind of cake because the sukois didnt come (they didnt come for SA nor for LIMA (lima sukoi is from RMAF)afterall... with the chinese and indians bitching about their respective SU-30mkX.. i doubt few countries with afew notable morons would still be interested in their product in this region)... but that does not imply that the SA is a failure... the SA was not set up to cater to your preference....

the success of the show is dependent on the opinion of the trade exhibitors and the trade visitors.... they are the ones who pays big bucks to be at the show (compare to your 20 dollar)... and their re-registration for the next show says it all...with regards to the success of the show in their opinion.

Can't really compare the shows from different years.

To military nuts the most exciting show was the one just before we selected F15, the presence of Rafale and Typhoon was very significant. This time none is there, not even the Gripen. Also there is little presence of the Chinese from PRC and the Russian.

Those interested in aircraft maintenance will find this year interesting with the models of all types of engines on display, especially from Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney. There is also significantly more players from the support industry present at the show.

Singapore Airshow this year is still more interesting than the Asian Aerospace in HK.
