    • lets say that you have this small island (approx 2000sqm).......with a lighthouse as a dominating feature, this island is in open seas, and is nearer to the opposition than to you, would such a feature be defendible? perhaps with a platoon of infantry?

he's trying to say IF we win the island, got people not happy then we have to defend lo.. and also trying to laugh at the platoon of infantry soldiers meaning the island is small in the TS's eyes and can't see anything useful for that.

go one round he's trying to bash the ruling party.

    • 1 platoon of soldiers are going to die needlessly . Unless u have inferior radar capabilities u need to attach human detectors on that island.

    • lets change aim lar. is it possible to defend small islands from attack? doubt so as naval gunfire would be able to cover the entire island...

there wont even be 1 platoon of soldier there... if  they occupy it.. it wont be the end... but the beginning of a war between two countries.

if you wanna do active defence... put some land base ASM lor... their naval  ships will sink... but our island wont... even if they fire 10000 rounds at it.

wah...you reminded me of one confusing term.

is it field pack or full pack? is it because last time the people pronounced it wrongly and it became full pack?

to me it sounds weird calling it full pack.

or he is saying you lose the island to Malaysia and then refuse to give it up.

    • the lighthouse is actually a Nuclear missile launcher tube in disguise.

That's why everyone wants that island.

    • You know if we get that piece of rock, all the sea within 3 nautical miles around that piece of rock is ours. The sea between that rock and our mainland is also ours. No more dispute. Who knows, maybe one day, we will reclaim land from that rock and expand our land area. That is what the dispute is all about.
