I heard from a few wise Thais that only the pure and holy good pple can only seek and obtain it..
Its a pure 100% earth element that's drip from dark caves..It's shining silver in colour and in order to control to 'wrap' it..It has to be cut by tradition chants and put in honey..
It's will come and go as it's deemed like..If it do not like you
It is very powerful for casting off evil spirits and such..
Now come the most nonsensical part..It can used to repel off incoming bullets
1st of all..When i heard this..The 1st thing tat come into mine mind was 'Bull-shi-t" But the Thai insisted that it is realli true and tat he has saw it with his own eyes..
I decided to find out more about this and i went to ask alot of various different Thai monks for it..Some were reluctant to speak, few did't know about it..But a handful lot of them DO say it Exists..
The closest concrete evidence that i can come up for this right now is this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rare_earth_magnet
Although it is not the 'Lek Lei" im referring to..This is the closest tat i can get to so far..
The Question is this..IF this thing really exists in science..Why do not the US Pentagon and Area 51 devoted its time to seek and harvest this Powerful Element out ? Strange
Pls enlighten me wise brothers..
Maybe u guys have the ans to it..

Maybe u guys have the ans to it..Below are a couple of links to sites that have some information on lek lai:
http://www.thai-amulets.com/leklai2.htm
http://www.thaiwaysmagazine.com/thai_article/2007_lek_lai/lek_lai.html
According to my limited knowledge of lek lai, it's "powers" are mystical in nature and therefore not quantifiable using existing equipment, hence science is unable to harness it's powers.
For a quality to be useful in scientific applications, repeatability is very important. For example, 1g of uranium under the same conditions will surely provide the same amount of nuclear energy. However, would a lek lai enable a person to dodge bullets 100% of the time?
