From my understanding, these Guardians from Hell will help to offer protection to those who trek the Buddha Dharma path and deal with the user's enemies who use spirits, souls, ghosts to harm the user
.
This is by far the most unusual, frighening and amazing barang from thailand I have ever encounter.
Wonder who will invite " them " without causing the family members to faint.
This brings a whole new meaning to the slogon - " Amazing Thailand "
Btw, we can classifed them as Dharma Protectors as used in the TibetEdited by VampireKing 11 Dec `07, 9:24PM

Hi,
Fear arise unknowing the true nature of samsara. If you cultivate the right path of Buddha Dharma, these Guardians may be guarding you this very moment!
Do not judge one by his or her appearance. Wrathful Deities symbolize compassion. Like a angry parent who meant well of their naughty children.
Peace.

Hi Maggot,
Thanks for your constructive commends as I used to practice Varjayana cycle of Buddhism thus allow me to explain the term - Dharma Protectors.
Basically in Varjayana (Diamond) Cycle of Buddhism, Dharma Protectors are classifed into 2 main groups -
1. Enlightened Dharma Protectors -
These protectors are often manifestation of various Buddhas and MahaBodhisattvas like Guan Yin, Varjapani..etc. Example like Lord Mahakala, he himself has many versions as there is a version called - The Great White Mahakala which is a wrathful transformation from Guan Yin. Or we can say they are the wrathful aspect of the Enlightened Mind. A skillful means to overcome the obstacles in our dharma practices.
2. Wordly Dharma Protectors
These are actually powerful spiritual beings often tamed by the Enlightened Ones, Buddhist Masters..etc. Example the Great Guru Rinpoche (founder of Varjayana Buddhism in Tibet) has tamed many local spirits, demons of Tibet to serve as Dharma Protectors thus we can also say that if Kumantongs, Luk Kroks, Female, Tree and any other spirits or soul that we have if cultivated correctly, they too also can act as our Dharma Protectors.
As you have mentioned the Great Dalai Lama - He, himself is Guan Yin thus being a great MahaBodhisattva, do you think that he doesn't have to go through the law of Karma? Not even Lord Shakyamuni Buddha himself can escape Karmaic laws as we all have to face our Karma either this lifetime or even when we have attained Buddhahood. Many sad events have happened to Tibet but as the Great Guru Rinpoche has predicted the great teachings of the hidden Varjayana Buddhism will spread from Tibet to the rest of the world when the time is ripe. What we are seeing now is this event actually unfolding.
P.S I don't do promotion for other websites is just that I can't get rid of the website in the pics.

Peace.

I think your brain lagi got problem, pple post what barang you believe.
We have to open our eyes widely when you wanna chow or interested in anything relate to occult. There are alot of ajahns our there have lost their way in their cultivation, thats why you can sometimes see alot of new weird weird deva, asuras..etc coming out.
Rahu- believed to be the one that holds the realm of samsara- 6 realms. Subdued by Lord buhdda and pay homage to him. Which is King Yama.
God of differ religion, be it taoist and hindu, you can sometime see the link.
There cant be 2 rulers of the hell. The HKbuhdda Home site will indeed be a place for hardcore barang pple to chow their barang from. But if you are unsure of the source of reputation of the item or master, better dont get it.

Hi ChesKiz,
I totally agree with you, although we can Barang lovers but we have to be careful what we invite to our homes. Best from respectale Archans. But bear in mind, some amulets are " design " not by Archans or Luang Phors, they are designed by Businessmen and bring to Archans and Luang Phors to bless to bring " life " to it thats why we see many unusual design.
Peace.

Well it seems Dharma is weak as people worship Dharma protectors more than Buddha and also don't have time to practise but got time to worship
Buddhism is a teaching but people changed it to a religion and so the story goes...

Buddhism is a teaching but people changed it to a religion and so the story goes...Agree but dharma is not weak, it takes two hand to clap, if the person who is absorbing dharma choose not to learn, what can dharma do.
If one choose to ignore dharma what can dharma do.
Dharma is still Dharma and the person is still him if they do not merge together.
See what i mean?

Hi Maggot,
It will be a very sad event when the precious Buddha Dharma really were to disappear from the samsara world. Think of all the mother sentient beings that will suffer.
Think about what you have just said especially when one have to face Lord Yama when one's life expires. Worship is a form of ritual which falls under one of the main aspect of the Great Mahayana Vehicle.
There is one story that I heard -
One old lady who do not know how to read any buddhist text and minimum Dharma knowledge was only taught to chant - Namo Ami Tuo Fuo (Lord Buddha Amithabha's chant) so she chant it when she do any daily chores and in almost everything daily actions that she carry out.
When she passed away, many colourful se li zhe are found in her remains which only high level Arahants would have. That is the power of faith in one's Dharma practice. Dharma is formless and is not limited in just text any practice leading to Buddhahood is Dharma. All doors lead to only one main hall.
Peace.

Vampire KingFace Lord Yama in bardo?

I recommend you take a look at the "picture version" of "tibetan life and death book"
Regarding chanting of mantra
Me share my points told by my mentors
Why you chant,
how to chant properly,
what to think of when chanting,
breathing technique when chanting,
who do you chant to?
who should listen to your chanting?
do you understand what you are chanting?
If you understand my above points your chanting will be very up to the mark
