I wonder why pple would want to dispose their amulet other than charity purposes.
Crack amulets dont mean that their powers are cracked, it is just that over the time, our body heat and moisture from our sweat could caused it to decompose.
Some thais wear amulets that are crack if it is from their favourite Luang phor
Their disposing method is actually to recycle the amulet, make it into powder to make new amulet but usually only if they got a high number of such similar amulets or they wont do it.Edited by cheskiz 26 Dec `07, 4:25PM

Anyway the types of lek lai I posted on the other thread have lots of it here
Old metallic alloy besides dark and shiny it also can write on paper
I think got lead composition also
But
after touching it the hand will not become black
The LP "X" statue got 1 crack on the head
Sorry I cannot name which LP or there will be a big flaming coming up
I think I will keep it after consulting an expert

Thanks to all the advice given

My say is this, i am not an expert but this is what i think.
It is not def not lead, since you hand wont turn black, can be the paint of the roop which you see on the paper or the material.
Firstly, you noe the material of your amulet?, inside amulet, got thing?
Secondly, Which temple, Which maker, Year? Batch?
Do you know the first and second one?
