      How come all my drives in my 5685 laptop cannot access? My friend just come back from malaysia(same laptop model as me) also suddenly cannot access drives. What happened?

      [*]Please download Flash_Disinfector and save it to your desktop.
      [*]Double click to run it.
      [*]You will be prompted to plug in your flash drive. Plug it in.
      [*]Flash_Disinfector will start disinfecting your flash and hard drives. This takes a few seconds. Your desktop will disappear in the meantime.
      [*]When done, a message box will appear. Click OK. Your desktop should now appear. If it doesn't, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
      [*]Click on File > New Task (Run...). Type in explorer.exe and press Enter. Your desktop should now appear.

      Yea thanks.Its the same one i found a few days ago and works. but everytime i plug in a usb,it comes back

      Dunno. Symptoms are that my USB drives, C/D drives all unable to access.

      More of my rp schoolmates got it. Same problem. I just found out ALL Hidden Files and Folders cannot be seen even when i set ” Hide hidden files + folders” to off.

      Wah, 5685...
      Well, for me when I bought it I tuned it so much now it can accept all shit unless it really crashes, so it doesn't give me any problem but I won't know until it crashes entirely.
      All drives cannot access means cannot double click right? For quick remedy just right click and choose 'open' or 'explore'.

      when i woke up today i cannot access my drives leh,but yesterday still can. :/

      anyone able to cure this?

      If you don’t have the cure, just use the dragdrop from the address bar to access your disk. I have this virus (W32.SillyDC) but can’t be bothered to fix the disk, reformatting my comp soon anyway. Hahaha
