need advise on work

I'm currently 26, been in this work for 1 yr... everything is good, pay, collegues, BUT, my boss really sucks...cos in the whole dept, only me & her, so really very diff to work tog.....
ok, it's a she boss, not married & is already in mid-thirties....she's really so damn unreasonable, every day hv mood swing, sometimes, when it's really bad, she can even throw yr work back to you, & reprimend you in front of other collegues....gosh, i really wonder how i survived this 1 yr.....everyday is like working around her mood, & i feel like her PA sometimes, while it's not included in my work scope...really feel so de-moralise everyday, to the extent, that it aggitates my eczema, now, i have rashes around my face too....
I started to look for job, but think the mkt is still not picking up...no response, & one of my friends said tht I've asked for too high pay...but this is wat i'm getting now mah....i even put negotiable...sigh.....some of my friends told me to tahan for 1 more yr, so at least can hv 2 yrs exp....
wat u all say?? tahan for 1 more yr while continue to look for jobs?? but looks like no response (i've been looking for jobs since feb, although i din sent mass)...sometimes, i feel like quitting w/o a job.... -
If you plan to quit without securing another job, then at least you should have half a year's pay in savings.
If not, then hang on to the job and continue searching. -

i have a friend who is 25 yrs old. she went for 2 interviews a few days ago and both offered her the jobs.
do you mind if i ask how much you are asking?
based on my understanding it is not difficult for gals in their 20s to get a job now. -

Wait wait wait, Nothing, then when I accepted 1 offer, the rest came Oh well, this job's pretty nice now

not really that gals can get job easily....i guess it all depends on luck? -
u can try to transfer to another department if cannot tahan.

Propective employers look for candidate who dont job hop much. 1 year on a job is relatively reasonable.
Use the current environment as a training ground. Use the resources to make yourself more valuable. Do not quit unless you are being offered a position. Honestly, people who find jobs easily have the experiences, a good profolio, fantastic soft skills or are extremely good looking. Not everybody is blessed like that.
Ultimately, the word here is Passion. If you are not passionate about your job, you will not last long. 1 year is considered very long. Follow your heart, remember your wallet too.

Don't quit without a job.
Try checking with employment agencies/ classifieds for any vacancies- if pay slightly lower never mind, better than having to put up with unreasonable boss. Moreover some co. will increase pay after probation -
Errrrr... Ur Lady Boss is having tell-tale signs of "Early Menopause"(too early i'll say)
Due to hormone imbalance... + not married ( kan cheong) therefore the mood-swing is changing faster than I change my boxer....

i really dont understand lady managers.
they want to win every argument. i have the impression their inferiority complex is seriously affecting them.
i remember once during an argument my GM said 'my english is not as good as yours. i dont want to argue with you. you may go back to your work now'.

Moreover it is easier to find a job if you are in one, that's how employers view prospective applicants. Secondly if you are employed you will have better bargaining power in terms of pay and benefits when interviewing for the next job. This is important in my view as there is also no guarantee that the next job, would provide you with greater satisfaction in terms of colleagues, boss, corp culture, so if you get a better pay, at least the upside is still there. Every corp has its plus and negative points, there is no heavenly work place!!!! Good luck in your search -
one advise for you. endure..pay her back in her own coins one day. is she jealous of your talent? is this a plot to get you out?
try your best to work your way up, she cant be on top of you forever...recommend a book..36 tactics in management, very interesting. -
