The New Rules of the Game

I love the way the new rules of attraction have been set.
Reading all the forum posts that complain about Singaporean women being picky, mercenary, or bitchy, I find it hilarious that most of the complaints come from disgruntled individuals who have obviously suffered at the short end of the stick.
They rant and rave about how the girls show no loyalty or ethics, instead just going for those who have good looks or plenty of cash. Judging by the level of disgruntlement, I guess they have a short fall in both.
Now before dismissing the statements above as just another load of crap, think carefully about what YOU value in a women. Surprise, surprise, guys are as shallow as girls. We're all shallow. Regardless of all the emphasis that "a sense of humor" is all so important, a hot looking chick is the desire of every normal hot blooded male, and it even becomes all the more important as guys get older.
So ditch the load of bull about how life is one sided. If the rules have changed from fifty years ago when all girls were simpering weak minded props that rested conveniently on burly male shoulders, then deal with the change. Or give up and go get a bride from a third world country and prove to all who know you that you didn't have the balls or the ability to court a true Singaporean Woman.
Last words of advice. Looks can be enhanced by simply being confident or with a wardrobe change. Extreme cases can be refered for going under the knife. Ambition can always bring financial success. Stop whining and go out and grab the things that you deserve. -

Men who complain those things you mentioned, are probably those who 'aim too high' or 'aim wrongly'. That is, to put it in another way, they don't look at themselves in the mirror and note their shortcomings, and they insist on getting the 'prettiest', the 'best', etc. Basically, if you step out of your league and then cannot meet the expectations, well, too bad! 
Ai pee, and ai chee... if you step into a 5-star restaurant and want to feast on haute cuisine, be prepared to foot the bill! -

Is there such rules at the first place? Rules are set by people and in the game... anything goes.
How well one handling the game into their own court is up individual.. if one follow to rules... you may oni find something good inside, what abt the outside...or the courtside.

Eh? Would u guys rather go for an ugly man/woman or a gorgeous lady/musculine man? The answer is there in ur heart. But may i assume that majority will go for the better-looking ones?
This issue is determined by how u look at it. If u're a woman, yes, u'll definitely agree with the text. For guys? Heh... Caucasian women might jus be ur "cup" of tea.

Please allow me to clarify. I am not insisting that people are only attracted to each other on a purely superficial level. Its just that having a good face and bod does help make the first connection. You can get around it with some effort and of course there are exceptions to all rules. Some hot girls want average guys for a sense of security (don't get me started on what that says about your sense of security) or some who just don't care about looks or money (those few truely enlightened people that everyone admires but don't care to emulate).
I was just piqued that there were so many posts ragging on the Singaporean girl in Aunt Agony. These remarkable creatures who in their best moments, are challenging, exciting and oh so delightful. I'm sure there are many sweet and intelligent girls in Thailand, Vietnam and assorted third world countries, but give me a SingGal anyday. -

the guys bitch that girls want the lot, but hey don't guys do that too? Da girl must be good looking, sexy, intelligent, subservient, witty, companionable, dress well, go to a good school, and the list goes on.
times have changed and the rules of engagement are still the same at the very core. I don't think they have changed much since the 50's.
if a guy gets ditched too many times, then hey, they must be doing something wrong right? What we hear here is only their side of the story, wonder how we would feel if we knew what the otherside went through...
singaporean men can be too whiny at times, grow up, get on with your life... if there is something the matter with your life, instead of crying and complaining do something about it, you are the only one who can coz other people sure are not going to do it for you.
