When's the best time to ask a new friend out?

  Hey peeps,
  I recently met this girl on a trip overseas. I exchanged numbers with her on the 2nd last day, and when i got back, msged her 3 days later.
  
  We've msged each other for 2 days now ( she doesn't have msn)
  
  Talked about some basics covering food, movies, tv, stuff like that, you know, in a random chatter
  
  I msged her asking if i could call her sometime instead, cos i'm not used to sms-ing so much at a go anymore, and she agreed. Which i've yet to do.
  
  Anyway, i'd like to meet up with her, but wouldn't wanna appear to be over-eager, or to be taking too long.
  
  So men and ladies, the question here is in finding the appropriate time-
  
  when do u reckon its a good time to ask her out?
  
  (Ask her out as in just for a simple meal and movie.)
  
  Any sincere replies would be great

  1) ask her if she have check out vivocity or velocity.
  
  2) know what type of movie she likes then jio her out to watch. better to get a preview ticket, more exclusive.
  
  3) Say you know of a nice place to makan and ask if she is free for a meal.
  
  4) Ask her out for a game of sports if she play any.
  
  5) Go for high tea

  quite true, sms, you can think and take time to reply. but meeting face to face might have awkward, silent pauses
