  Yeah, yeah yeah, you can't hurry love! Is age the main concern that make you wanna get married? If it is, I think it is not very healthy. Go mix around get to know more people and from there you may find that someone.

  nowadays its no big deal if one is still single at 30...yah, some occasion chiding from relatives but by & large - society is alright...its not a stigma anymore..important thing - don't marry for sake of marrying...you regret later...

  Yeah, red_amoeba, agree with you absolutely. No big deal for one to stay single even in their 30s, 40s, 50s and so on. The world has changed and singlehood is more acceptable compared to the past. Marriage is not everything in life, it is only part of life. Moreover, so many people concentrate on their careers and place so much emphasis on building their careers. I was told just last year someone got married in her 50s. Hey, lady, while waiting for the one to come, do enjoy your own company and the company of others.

  i am single and in my early 40s.
  
  i have been living alone for more than 5 years already.
  
  i have few friends and thus rarely go out.
  
  frankly, the loneliness is terrible, especially during festive seasons!!!
  
  but what to do......
