Love has no reason?

  He says he really loves me.
  
  I ask him why.
  
  He says it's just based on feelings.
  
  I say but my behaviour has been rather annoying from the first time we met.
  
  And he says yes there were times i made him clenched his fist in frustration, however he has learnt to accept it for who i am.
  
  Say i m thinking too much you may,but there's a nagging doubt in my head.
  If i were really irritating to him why would he have wanted to get close to me in the first place?
  Why bother to tolerate me if i need to b tolerated?

  he's lying. I confirm that for you. But right now... the crush-type feeling is still strong in him that he don't care. You continue to be bad to him... see if things will change

  While i admit i dun hav a complete doctrine on the subject matter n little relevant experience to which i can refer to,i just feel that there must be some quality about a person which makes u want to love him/her.
  Even if it's just based on feelings,the feelings shouldn't be baseless otherwise it could be likened to building castles in the air. How could it be enduring?

  i guess such feelings starts from chemistry, thus cant really explain. yes, it is probably not enduring, hence we need other factors to make the feeling last, and the relationship work.

  It is natural for Men to have expectations. It is innate in us.
  Making clear of what are the expectations in this individual, getting her to voice out her definitions is to see where does she come from/her views and why does she phrase in such a way.

  cos if it wears out he has failed what he told me when i asked him why tolerate me,he said to him it isnt about tolerating anymore he has accepted that as part n parcel of being with me it comes natural n need not be tolerated alr.
  
  yet i know there's a limit to anyone's patience
  
  I just can't be sure. I like him. but the reason why i like him may not be viable if we go into a relationship n his patience wears. that's the dilemma.
