When one has a crush, he or she sees the one she or he likes, heart beats very fast, blush, can't stop thinking about the person, keep wanting to see the person. Crush is just an infatuation.
Love could be anything from deep feelings to sexual feelings to any other feelings warranting you to share your life with the person. -
The diff btw love and crush is clear:
Crush - When you like someone and that liking consumes your entire thoughts every second of the your life. You put your self-esteem/ self worth at stake should the person don't like you back. Everything else becomes less important, to the point of possible exclusion of mutual friends. Feelings take over. The person you like becomes 'something' you can show off to others once you succeed at getting the person to like you back. Essentially, liking the person is to boost your own ego. The person's well-being is not as important as satisfying your own well-being. A crush will most likely make you miserable as you seek the person to fulfill your own standard expectations.
You don't see the faults of the person, only the good bits.
You know it's a crush when the person has interest in you too and you want the whole world to know asap.
Love - When true love is exist, there is no compulsion for reciprocal benefits from the one you love. Everything you do is for the good of the person, not for yourself. Feelings for the person doesn't consume you. You involve other people into your life and expand your social circle. Truly loving a person will make you a happier person. Your self-esteem is not at stake. You don't work your life around the person only. You see and accept the faults of the person, perhaps to like the faults too. Love is not just about feelings, it's also chemistry between the person you love and yourself.
Usually, when it's true love, you don't want to expose the relationship too early to others. -
