  Best is not to make them feel uncomfortable when u r around. Then smile politely at them. When u find that they are OK, then the next thing u can do is to have small talk with them. Dun straight away be so zealous u may scare them off!

  depends on location/situations...
  
  in night spots, of cse a "returned" smile from them is the license to move forward
  
  as for normal places, even I also find it impossible, unless u are super duper rich or handsome...

  i think it depends on how the guys approach strangers. My ex neighbour got to know her husband as stranger. The husband waited for her in the vicinity. IN the end they got to know each other and got married.

  ts.......Just be yourself buddy,make sure you smile,and try not to look nervous.dont try to act like your someone your not,be yourself,and most importantly have faith and confidence in who you are.you can only find the right person for you if you are being yourself....goodluck friend.
