Been rejected by this gal late last year. This year, we got closer, going out together, sms everyday, and talk on the phone for long hours. Which we had not done last time. There was once when i did not reply her for 3 days and she got worried for donno wad reason. She's a shy and quiet gal.
So did she change her mind?

To ifish: valentines day is created by some guy for "I forgot what reason therefore I dunno". As long as you know what is important for you at this period. There is little to worry about how she "changed her mind".
Settle your exams. Then ask her out.

You might not agree with the concept of Valentine's but the fact is IT'S THERE and just by ignoring it won't make it go away
Fair enough that you both wanna concentrate on exams. But at least send her a sweet message, or a card. Not too much of an effort right. It'll be a nice gesture, then she knows you think she's special. -

anyway the last time i ask is before some tests and it screw up. One of the many reason she gave me is she want to concentrate on her studies.

A gal can definitely change her mind. However, in ur case, u said she's a shy and friendly gal. That's the problem. A friendly gal will definitely be very nice to everyone ard her, sms/msn or meeting frequently don't really mean much. Furthermore, she has rejected u once. There may be a possibility that she thinks u have already taken the hint and move on, and hence lower her guard against u, not knowing u still like her.
But of course, I am not her so i don't know. All I can say is take things one at a time, try 2 find out from normal conversations if she's seeing anyone now, or if u are slowly becoming an impt part of her life. -

No she is not seeing anyone now.
Another thing i notice recently is that she pass caring about ppl talking about us being to close compare to last time where she tend to avoid sitting beside during lesson or walking to the train station with me. -
She rejects you last year, doesn't mean she will reject you this year.. WAKE UP

wat im worried about is that if it's false alarm,
i will lose this friendship with her.
Not that there are no other tree, but this tree had been the one who kept me company when i'm lonely, down and out.
She had given me a chance to build this friendship. If I ask her one more time, would she end it all? -
