Useless guy

Hello...i've been having this feeling... i feel like a useless guy...heres how it goes.
Everytime i see guys playing basketball and im not playing it, i feel kinda useless...cause to tell you the truth...i suck at most sport except cycling...i always fail my 2.4km...in my opinion a guy should be good in sports....and girls likes mostly guys who plays basketball....but i just dont like basketball.
I like to do things like model collecting and other hobbies, most of which girls finds boring. My sis ever told me this , "Wah, model collecting very fun meh? I think its just a waste of mum and dad money and i tell you, play basketball lah. Then got girls like you one. Otherwise you chances of having a girl liking you is very low" I feel like a geek and most girls dont like geeks and nerds..
Now my cousin... He is shuai (handsome) IMO... he does plays basketball . He knows how to sweet talk girls. When i ask him what he does during weekends, he answered me that he went to KBox or watch movie with girls. Actually he goes out with girls alot and he complains that its quite boring actually but he no choice, because the girls keep asking him go out. I feel that his quite cool and has the charming sense. I feel that if i compare myself with him, hes so cool and charming but im so useless and nerdy and like mummy's boy ( i always go out with my parents).
Whenever i jio a girl out, they always say No time, not free...But when my cousin ask the girls, the girls answered yes/ok ok without hesitating. I feel kinda useless really for this...
Also, most of my friends who are shuai and cool works part time and have the money to buy things to pamper the girls they like. My parents dont even allow me to work due to my O levels...so ofcuz i dont have the money to pamper girls...
Hmm hope you guys dont say that i shouldnt date at my young age of 17...i really prefer teen, youth dating, cause its a kinda active...dating at work are usually less active, due to the long working hours and that we usually work into the weekends...the only good thing is that we will be more financially stable...im not looking for that ... what im looking for is a very active relationship, a r/s where we play hard together like go gai gai...study abit together... and kinda playful relationship.
Actually, wat i want is, what can i do so that i will be more famous with the girls, so that my chances of getting a girlfriend is higher? -

model collecting is fine...stick with what ur interests lie in...no one can tell u what u shld like or what u shldnt like...and rmb, dun do things juz to make girls like u, it will make u lose ur identity...b urself=) btw theres ntg wrong with going out with ur parents dude...they ARE the closest to u...its normal to spend more time with them...juz allow urself to spend time with ur family n ur frens evenly...
lol n u dun go arnd asking girls to go out with u all the time yea?if u want to, get a couple of guys n girls tgt n organise a grp outing...they wun feel initimidated by ur actions then...they dun reject ur cousin...yea coz he shuai wat...shuai ge difficult to reject mah lol...but dun feel dejected bcoz of that mah...in the end u wan a girl who reali loves u for who u r n not ur looks=)
dun juz earn money to pamper girls la haiyoz...like that ur juz deceiving urself that they like u n not for ur money...get a girl who reali likes u, then pamper HER...dun tink of pampering any girl juz to get them to like u...
actuali i agree that 17 can haf r/s at least let us exp n find out what is love what...the thing is dun let it affect u too much that it destroys ur future...its nice to b loved...but its impractical to love ur future away=p
as for being more famous with girls...i guess being more sociable, talkative, n b nice to girls bah...treat girls gentlemanly n help them out whenever u can=) -
Do your O levels first. You can worry about boyfriend girlfriend issues after that.

You just got to do things your own way~ eventually someone will see the spark in you.
Anyway not all girls like guys who play sport etc etc. so no point in following the trend or stuff like that. you won't be happy that way trust me
Just focus on what you like, find a group of friends whose interest is of the same area and you will feel alot better. So just be confident of your ability and just do your best and enjoy what you do~ sooner or later you will shine -

And Basketball is not neccesarily the sport to woo Girls...In fact if your playing that sport to woo Girls...How stupid are you ?
There are always many alternatives....For example... tennis, Badminton, Diving, Swimming....Canoeing....Sailing...
You dont nesscasrily need basketball lol... Dont follow the trend la...go do something else... even if you cant do sports go read up...do some research...play simulation games... -
i think u should join in the fun of playing basketball instead of just watching others playing basketball at a corner. having pe lesson is it? that might be the reason why u sucks at sports and fail ur 2.4km because lack of exercise thus bad stamina. ur mindset of u sucks in sports might stop u from enjoying basketball. treat it as doing some exercise and interacting with ur classmates.
though i encouraged u should play basketball as exercise and a way to interact more with ur classmates, but dont ever give up on ur hobby. it's something that u love.
do u interact frequently with the girls who u tried to ask them out but failed? and are u in good terms with them? if u hardly interact with them, that might be the reason why they reject the offer to go out with u.
as for going out with ur parents that part, its perfectly fine with it. it doesnt mean going out with parents is mummy's boy and vice versa. unless ur like those, u beat me, i tell my mummy that kind lah
interact more with the GIRLS/GUYS in school and hanging out after school. soon u will have more chance to go out with girls instead of getting rejected.
u may do somethings to get what u want but in the process, never lose urself and change to someone u not really r. thats what makes u unique even if not special. -

Basketball = popular with girls? Some people must be reading too much manga and watching too much tv.
And who says guys must definitely be good at sports. That's not true too. If you have a serious problem with your fitness then you should exercise more.
Just be yourself. I'm sure there will be girls out there who will appreciate you. It's just that you have not met the right girl yet. -
The conception that basketball boys are more popular and hot and strictly Not True. People from all kind of sports and clubs can be "famous with the girls" (quoted from your last sentence.)
An alternative is to link up with people in your 'model collecting' sector. You get to know more people (esp. girls) who have the same hobby, which makes your job of chatting up with them much easier. -
