How do you intro your bf/gf to your parents??

Any tips and do's and dont's???

Act good and innocent if you are bad and not innocent ? and greet everyone
clean the table and wash the plates and others after the meal
and find out their parents interest and talk to them about it
naturally then they will have a good impression -
so far never bring bf home.. so never introduced to family before.
i will only do that when i feel that both of us are committed to each other and will be together for a long time. -

when u step into the house just say u brought ur fren home...
intro her/him to them not the other way round...
den just make sure he/she greets everyone...
don't go into the room with him/her directly...
a plus to bring a jian4 mian4 li3, fruits/wine/liquor/beer/chocolate/sweets/etc...
don't snatch the tv controls...
proper dressing for first impression...
if smoke, tell him/her no smokin...
i tink all these shld score quite high...

Just bring them in introduce as friend first
ur parents will CONFIRM ask u who is he/she. Then its up to u later how u tell them lo. After that , next time not so tense liaw lo -

But jian4 mian4 li3 can be skipped.

more importantly how old are you? if you are 14 or so, bringing back a gf or bf might be a problem, but if you are 30+ and u brought back a gf or bf, your parents will be more then willing, even if there is no gift or something liadat, it is the greatest gift to the parent for their children to find his or her loves one? rite? LOLS

haha...when my dear came to visit my parents for the first time, kena interogated by my parents lolz. Somemore he came to stayover for one night I think...I was nervous for the whole 2 days
But luckily my parents have very good impression of him, so until now they kinda entrusted me to him liaoz
First time I saw his parents...didnt talk much to them cos got language barrier problem Until now I think communication still limited because of my broken Mandarin haiz...but I did remember bringing gifts for them, until now if got special occasions (Chinese New Year, mooncake festival, etc) I will still bring gifts for them...
Both of our parents have also met each other, that was an even more nerve-wrecking event for me than me just meeting his parents lolz...but thankfully everything went well -
I remember that when i brought my gf's to my house my parent just told me not to bring them a grandchild that soon, i personally think that it's just how they think. Some parent have a mindset for their daughter that they are too young to get into a r/s, so they will be quite biased about their bf. And vice versa. Try to drop a hint on your parent before bringing your bf/gf to your house.
