My bf is super noisey when he is asleep. He snores damn loud and due to this i lost my sleep in the night everytime when i'm with him...

I'm a light sleeper while he is those heavy kind.
Saw the advertisment on tv..the spray thingy. Does it really works?
Is there any other ways to stop someone fron snoring when sleeping?

Don't wake him. It's bad to disturb his sleep some more as he is already having difficulties breathing while sleeping and hence not sleeping well.
Gently turn him to his side to release the blockage.
Then put on ear plugs to block the noise...

NO ! not to the extend of cancer

I manage to find out more, snoring might leads to the follow depending on how seriuos is his snoring.
quote:
If you're snoring it may be you're suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnoea(OSA). In this condition, the relaxed throat muscles blocks the airway briefly hundreds of times each night stopping your breathing, depriving your body of oxygen. In short-term, this causes tiredness during the day, irritability and restlessness, and puts you at risk of accidents when driving. In long-term, it can cause High Blood Pressure, Heart Attacks and Strokes.

here's what you have to do.. i suffered from that.. he may not be getting the rest he needs from sleep...
snoring is usually due to obstruction, where the muscles from the throat slack and the tongue or tonsils fall back, and is made to vibrate from breathing..
this usually happens when the person is sleeping on his back...
an interim and temporary prevention technique which is not very intrusive is to sew a pocket on the back of his pyjamas... and when he is going to sleep, to place either a tennis or golf ball into the pocket.. this will make sleeping on his back uncomfortable enough to automatically lie on the side but not wake him..
sleeping on the side opens up the airway and almost stops the snoring in all cases...
now, the other part which could cause health problems is if it is chronic.. that could be Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).. he could actually stop breathing for a while, and his oxygen level in his body drops until almost to the state where he is starved of oxygen.. he will then cough in his sleep and start breathing heavily... then stop breathing again.. this stresses the heart and may cause heart problems... and he will be tired a lot even when he sleeps a lot
go get a doctor to check it out.. he may need minor surgery to correct the OSA.. it is for his own health
i had OSA.. i had my tonsils removed and after that, i stopped snoring and slept better..
