very bad fever

hellp pls. i had very bad high fever on tuesday(yesterday) and it is so bad, that all my face flushed and my eye is so red, and i can't even swallow, my throat is very bad, and i have bad headache too. docotro diagnosed as very bad infected throat, i took his antibiotics yesterday (1) day and this morning once, but still didn't work, when i wake up today i still feel so goggy, headache, cough and hving cold and throat getting better but the rest is still pain. like i feel so weak, tired and sleepy, drowsy. i feel i cna't do anything except to lie on bed, so painful, is this fever? i sweldom got this. what will help fever to be ok, thanks. my head is very heavy, gogy, sleepy.

did you consume any medicine that will induce drowsiness?

hi is it common to be goggy, headache and fever up and down, last night fever down a bit, this morning up again, and headache again, i am taking runny nose medication and cough, i guess it make me drowsiness, but i took it at 9pm last night, i guess it should dissolve. is it still common to feel this way for fever.
wat else to expect fever. i got runny nose, sorethroat(geting better), ear block( can't hear well), sleepy, tired, headache, feverish) is tat common for normalfever? -
yea.. last time when I have sore throat, it slowly develop into fever. I'll also loss energy and lie in bed for almost whole day.
Well, you'll have to take anti-inflame and panadol. Remember to drink lots water.

Dengue perhaps? You never know.
Go to a doctor and all will be reveal, meanwhile, just hang in there, don't eat too much medicine. -
you'll have to wait for about an hour or so for the medication to take effect.
lots of sleep is important
water too, will 'filter' the crappy stuff out

normally fever how long will come down, this is my 2nd day, is still feveish feeling, -

Please seek a second doctor's opinion. ( meaning another doctor)
Sometimes it could be misdiagnosed.
If you suspect it to be something more serious.
Insist to have your blood tested.
The results can be more accurate than relying on your symptoms. -

ya lor..scarely tio dengue...GP always say common fever..but when go hospital for blood test...then found out as dengue...common fever normally after 1-2 days will go away liao with medicine....

and about the throat, cant even drink ahh... so pain sia... every meal was so torturing! -

take your anitbiotics and finish the course.
drink lots of warm water. flavour it with pandan leaves, lemon, honey or make iced cammomile tea.
slap on those children fever reducing stickers on your forehead & necks.
get a face towel, soak in water, wring dry and apply on eyes.
suck on strepsils.
brush your teeh and gargle your mouth often with listerine.
keep your room cool and dark. play some lightweight easy music.
take regular shower.
throat infection can recur. especially when you are stressed out.
