Been troubled by this friendship thingy for some time...
Can ex be friends again?
I think it should be ok, but some think otherwise....
But i had made a decision to give up 'that old friend' bcos i dun wan to see my bf feel so hurt due to such friendship. He has had showered me with his utmost love and tenderness... it will be the most self-centered thing to do if i still keep that old friend... i cant just sit there and do nothing and see him feel upset.

for me its ok la...my gf has quite a few ex who she still keeps in touch with but i dun mind la coz she constantly reassures me that im the onli one she loves loh...i believe normally those who mind r those who do not haf that much confidence bah...
if ur willing to give that fren of urs for this r/s to do better then its ur sacrifice for the r/s...in a way its a way of reassuring ur bf but make sure its no more contact next time, or else it might cause more misunderstandings...this is if ur bf is reali affected by it bah...
if not, u can actuali try to explain that u guys r purely juz frens n mean it...dun even tink of going back with him coz it will b unfair for ur bf...
but if ur very close to that fren of urs, n ur bf insists on u 2 not havin any contact, i feel that its ur bf's fault...he doesnt haf the right to make u break contact with ur frens...if its ur own decision, then ur kinda doin ur fren wrong coz he din do anything wrong to deserver that...but if u reali had to choose one between the two...if its that serious that is...then i guess what u did is ok... -

i dont think so. when you begin to be unhappy with the present bf/gf, you will then turn to ur ex who will shower u with love.
At the end of it, u will confuse yourself whom u shld love. -
All my Ex's are my good friends.
but all my Gf's dont like my ex's.
They tend to compare. N i get frustrated. especially when they say my ex prettier la.. fairer , hotter... all that crap. yes they are pretty, hot , fair whatever...but, i chose you now didnt i ?
I dont mind my gf got some contact with her ex , if she doesnt really make a big fuss about it , i dont see why i shouldn't allow her to be in some minor contact with her ex. -

Last time I used to be jealous and irritated the moment my dear mentioned his ex crush or said that he talked to her...
But now after thousands of reassurances and all his actions seem to show that he and the girl are nothing but just close friends, I have learnt to take it easy and give him more freedom to mingle with his friends. It is kinda unfair to force him to get rid of a friend just because I am being overly possessive and unreasonable.
I think it would help if you talk to your bf about her, reassure him no matter how many times that you are really true to him and you are just friends and nothing more with your ex. And put your words into action, show your bf that he can always count on you and trust you. Sooner or later he will not even bring up this issue anymore.
It is just an issue of insecurities on his part I guess... -

In actual fact, i dun mind if he contact with his ex... as long as my bf give me assurrance that it is a past r/s and no more feelings involved, i believed and trust him... i marked his words...
it all depends on how much the trust between the 2..... and how much u udstand each other...
