i have been with gf for 7yrs now. me malay and she chinese
i love her very much.. thats for me and recently she say she love me but no more so deep like she use to be when im in the army and school and cant find that spark for me anymore..
Recently we had a minor sqabble then she just say that she wanna break up.. and she say she dont wanna convert for me.. she had gone to all the course in Islamic all that but she say that she go because of me.. We even have a flat bought in punggol. i just dont know what should i do as i love her very much and want her to be my wife...
an anyone make me understand where goes wrong??
what to do to selvage this relationship??as i dont wanna lose her -
Frankly , I think you both should chill for a while and take a break from each other for a while. Converting to another religion is very difficult. I know from personal experience ( I didn't convert at the end ) . As from what I understand , once you convert to Islam - there is no turning back . So it is a major decision for her to make. Maybe you should sit down and have a chat why she does not want to convert and let her tell you her reasons. Let her find her way into Islam by her own volition, don't pressure her.
Better that she starts to have doubts now rather than later when you both are married with kids. You want a solid relationship , not one where everyday she blames you for her predicament down the road.

We are dealing with two people from different religions and culture. They have to work things out for themselves and make their own decisions. He loves her but in order for her to marry him , she has to convert. -

I suppose she couldn't accept the idea of having to convert to islamic. As you know, islamic tend to have lot of rules, so not many people will like the idea of converting to islamic

i dont think shes worth it.. there are better girls out there.. between char siew and you. she chose char siew.. dont care about her already

I don't think the MAIN issue here is her converting to Islam but it definately adds on to TS's girlfriend's stress.
TS...you need to sit down and think....think long and hard....try to figure out (based on how well you know her) why she is she feeling this pressure...
And the best way to do this is to communicate with her...
Does she feel that she is making a big sacrifice for you and she wants you to show appreciation, yet you havn't?
Does she fear that she will lose a part of herself if she continues with this relationship? (this fear is a very strong one that most couples face when approaching the issue of marriage)
Or does she truly believe that the path you two took has reached it's end...and its time to part...
Talk to her.....ask her....go with an open mind

imagine i tell u, forever u cant touch chicken anymore.. u cant eat it anymore and its one of your favourite food. imagine how your gf feels when she cant eat things like char siew pao, wanton mee and during chinese new year. cannot eat bak kwa. u have to be understanding

She still can eat pork if she wants to what. i tink the problem lies on the fact tat she does not wanna convert..
convert is a very big decision to make.
maybe she just felt tat she could not leave her own religion ?

I would also want to noe how to salvage this type of relationship...
I have been thinking... asking around .... but still I cant find a perfect answer... But however, I can tell u wat is my current thoughts and maybe if u like, u can carry on from there...
well.... it could be yr relationship is just way too long... u should have given her commitment a few years back... All these while , she may be seeing u and her having little future... And this may seems to be very taxing on her... But it is the deep love that she has on u tat keeps her going... As time passed, the string of deep love tat binds u and her slowly wears off... And she just cant take it anymore...
Probably, u should understand her and have helped her to shoulder these problems in the start... I believe in a relationship it takes two hand to clap and there is no right and wrong in a relationship ...
