when you are feeling nervous, keep yourself in check. once you figure out that you are biting yourself, tell yourself to stop. see if sucking on candy works....
the main problem with these issues is that once people drop one thing, they tend to pick up another habit (such as biting nails...)
try to constantly remind yourself not to bite. think of something or do something else to distract yourself. figure out what makes you nervous and why they make you feel nervous. take deep breaths, close your eyes and slowly count to 10 (or 20 or 30 or 50 or hopefully until maybe you feel a little calmer).

Next time, try breathing exercise.

Grit your teeth tightly for a coupla seconds
lor.....
Squeeze a stress ball!
Else try popping a sweet into your mouth?
There's a plastic/rubber mouthpiece which profesional
boxers insert into their mouths when they fight. That mouthpiece
essentially prevents boxers from biting their tongues but I believe
it might help you. Go consult your dental professional lah.....
