The idiotic neighbour

Last night, was using my computer around 11pm when the family above mine started hammering. The sound was minimal at first, then it grew louder. If it's not enough, the guy started using a drill. I got damn irritated, open my window, shouted at him to stop or i'll kick his ass.
Sure he stopped, for like 5 mins then he continued drilling. Isn't that a fu*ked up thing to do? Drilling and hammering at 11 in the night?
I got so fed up that I wore my pants and took a shirt and went straight to his door. Knocked and his son opened the door. I asked "are you the one doing the drilling" He gives me those type of face which apparently is speechless. Then his father came out and started to debate with me. Said that he only drilled for 5 mins then I started complaining. I told him that its late and can't he do his drilling in the morning, my parent's have had a long day today and they need their rest to concentrate on their work tomorrow.
He then gave me a stupid reason that he has no time to drill in the morning because he's working as a taxi driver. Believe me, I have no discrimination against taxi drivers, I think it is a really decent job, but that doesn't give him the moronic excuse on the pretext of being a taxi driver, as if in the whole building he's the only one working! My parents are working in the morning too for pete sake!
Tell me guys, am I wrong to confront him, or he's being unreasonable in drilling like 11pm? -
No loud noises after 10pm.

tat time my neighbour staying above me they watch some scary show den music turn on v loud. i buay tahan den went upstairs to ask them lower down the volume. i look thru the window and said " can you lower down your volume?" den the mother which was lying on the sofa which is next to the sofa got frightened by me haha. she was watching halfway thru a scary show den got some1 suddenly say something thru the window. i see her jump up from her sofa. tat time i duno whether to laugh or b angry but i saw the mother facial expression v funny hahaha. -

I have noise problems with the bloody sicko neighbour above me, too. Call the neighbourhood police for help. According to the police, anyone who starts to make noise from 10.30 pm onwards, you are allowed to call police for help.

Was very bad in the past, then i realise life is so unexpected...what if something happens to them and I can't be there?
