Problem - this is a year contract.
Once completed, you will ONLY receive one month's bouns.
May or may not renew the contract - depend on your performance

So,will you accept this offer?
Or, should I accept?

depends on urself, ur qualifications, ur interest..

if u have a degree, u might want to consider something else.

frankly, admin jobs got no prospects la. but 1.7k for admin job is considered quite high already even for a dip holder.. i remember when i graduated and was looking for a job, the potential employers then offered me 1.4K.

but then for me, i wun take it.. mainly bcos of the 1 yr contract.

It is a japanese company with 1/3 of chinese only.

the pay is nt that bad. But are u looking for a perm? if yes, find something else.

however, if its a big MNC or company, i will suggest u work hard and hope to the contract will become permanent.

U hv to look at what project are they doing, long term or short term, if it is a long term reputated company, get a perm contract, otherwise leave after one year, they will negotiate with you as you have gain experience and know your job well after one year, if it is a short term, ask for more pay and compensation as the job is not a secure one, it is a contract for service, u should regard yourself in a professional basis.

On the other issue, beside the one month bonus, there must also be a Annual Wage supplement of one month, so called AWS or 13 month bonus.
U also can ask for transportation benefits.

cos ah, japanese company, their thinking is very dead.... they very very very seldom promote female cos they think female dun do great things....
