  New school term started,Then found out the teacher of my worst subject(Maths)is the school's Discipline Mistress!Notorius for being fierceThen today She told us she expects
  91 above for exams.Then she say teach strategy,this that,buy extra challenging assesment books................................................
  
  I know I will not be able to cope as last year got only 65

  she has high expectations, bt i have to emphasize, its FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. being strict and u learn something and get good grades? or slack and bo chap?
  
  i had a very strict teacher for chem when I was in sec sch. i feared her. but i tried and i did nto get the sh!tty grades in O lvl as in school.

  When it comes to maths, you don't need to depend on your teacher to score A1.

  Just study hard and be smart. The outcome u will just know after the result..

  she's probably a damn good teacher. last time in school i had the discipline mistress teach b4. i had various HODs in my class too.. they appear damn fierce but they can be really really nice ppl. It's the image they have to carry around with them at school lah.. chill, relax and do alot of maths sums

  when it comes to studies... dont need to scared the fierce teacher scold you in class.. cause in the exam hall you can only depend on yourselfs alreadi..
  
  keep practicising your gspot redspot maths assessment and other subjects the questions do over and over again then you pro already.. if the teacher dares to KP again you shout back MAI CHA LAH CH33 BY3 and finish her off with RHK

  Good that you got fierce teacher like her la cos she push you to work harder. There isn't a need to be overly intimitated by her cos she can't bite or wack or kill you as long as you fufill your responsibility as a student ... by doing her homework.
  
  The more you practise doing maths, the more confidence you will gain. So buck up now, you can also jump from 65 to 100 marks one. It is better to buck up and get better grades for your psle or o'level.

  Btw, to score in math is just lots of practice as what other forumers said. My JC class, math exam is like 97 highest, next is 96 and all
  
  me 93 the exam i mentioned is JC math (my year is 2004).
  
  work really hard to achieve ur grades ya, the fact that i come from double math JC class means lot of math hw. And the hw can be mutiple of mountains..

  You have to understand that whatever you are learning right now. You are going to apply it in the future. So might as well gain your "experiences" first so that you can use them wisely in the future.

  I am not trying to be arrogant or prove a point. I am just trying to advice that in life u have to think far. unless u wana apply for some SAF or president's scholarship, I believe a score of 90++ is out of the reach of most students.
  
  Its gd to aim for the stars, so that u can drop on the tree if things go wrong. However, if u do not achieve ur objective, there is no need to be disheartened.
  
  Always keep the big picture in mind.
