when i was very little my father would make me feel guilty whenever i talked about anything to do with wealth

like saying "hg! bu gan yuan zuo pu tong ren" (thats the exact entire sentence with no head no tail) that means he thinks his 3 room flat is very big (cos he comes from a 1 room flat with 5 or 6 other people) and he thinks he is a hero for driving a bus and he would criticize the price of things we buy cheapskately and he thinks he knows everything even to the extent that he would go to my school and talk rubbish

and i should stay contented coming home everyday to smell his fart jokes and living in this home where the only jokes spoken are the same old ones from 20 years ago

so if i shouldnt look forward to wealth that surpasses his what do i do? imagine things lor

life sux when u have stupid parents

perhaps what you need to have is perspective in life

u shd be proud of what your father had achieved and at the same time, pity him that he had only this much time to achieve this much, and soon, he would be gone.

He just wish to show all that he knows to you and you think he is showing off - but u know what, thanks to what he has done, little as you may judge it, what he had given you is the chance to learn more and that is how you can see he knows less.

So be thankful for the opportunity he has given you and work hard for yourself. working hard is not simply for money though money is good. But it doesn't solve all problems
