a problem with my neighbour

today at 10 am. i was still in bed. den i heard knocking noise coming from the ceiling above. at first i did not care abt it because i thought it would stop soon. but after awhile, the noise continue and i cnnt continue to slp.
so i decided to go upstairs and check. i could hear the noise when im at the stairs. when im i reach the house where the sound is coming from, i saw a uncle chopping something on the chopping board on the floor. i ask him to move to the table and chop or somewhere higher. i tot he would do so and apologise to me. instead, he blame me for waking up so late. (hello! its sch holiday and i have no work today. of cos i would wanna slp longer!)
he demo to me how hard he chop on the chopping board, i suppose he did not put anything below the chopping board(etc cloth or newspaper). the block we are living in are very old already. more than 20 years.
he den raises his voice and said that there is nth wrong to make noise at that time. because it is not like as if 6 or 7 am. does this means that even if it is afternoon, they can make noise and disturb the neighbours below them?
den he keep repeating and say ' who ask you to wake up so late' and ' this is ur problem, and not mine.' his wife den came over and ask me to ask my mum to talk to them(nobody was at home except me). im already in poly now. still not old enuff? he also say that 'not happy u move to somewhere else la'
den before i left, he yelled vulgar at me and said something like wanna use the chopper to chop me.

imagine u slping halfway den ur inconsiderate neighbours make so much noise. u tell them nicely they raise their voice at u.

there's pricks living upstairs that drill walls on normal (working and schooling) weekday at ard 6:45am
luckily the bunch of "it" had moved away!

What can I say?
Before today you have no problem with the neighbour, after today you have problem with you neighbour.
You should have just let it be for the first instance, if repeated, then go and see them.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with them making some noise while preparing food... I think you are the problem...

everyday pound chilli with the old granite pounder on the floor with nothing to cushion the impact. do you know how loud it gets? it happens everyday for 2-3hrs non stop. sometimes more.
when u get such neighbours thn u will understand.

Just take revenge. I would do this - take some pole, whack it on ur ceiling at 5 am in the morning. Another alternative - Use gloves, get some eggs, throw in front of his door can liao. Not on the door.

I do not think they do this very often, so just forgive them. May be you can recommend them the latest food processor so that we can avoid the noise and they chopping on the floor.

the neighbour not in the wrong leh since its already 10.if i recall correctly even construction works can be done after 10 am

this is an issue of tolerating such annoying people..
next time go work.. in those kinda of office workplace..so many sickening ppl.. will try to sabo you.. make u do more work.. den take credit for work.. can't even scold them back..
means that u must train ur high level of tolerance.. yep.. it helps really.. like example in friendship.. u can tolerate ur friend's bad points for talking super loud.. it can help maintain the friendship.. hope my advice helps tho =)

haha, scold you for waking up so late. Just hope this problem don't persist lor .. if all else fails, treat this as alarm clock. sleep too long also not good for health.
