The bruise under the chin is the least of your problem.
How are your teeth? Are your front theeth straight down or are they at angle outwards? Do you have neck pains? When you open and close your jaws, is there is cllicking sound? Do you have a headache? Ringing in the ears?
Your incisors could have been pushed out of alignment. And if uncorrected, could leave you being buck toothed. like BugsBunny.
Your jaw joints could have fractured, affecting the neck muscles. Your jaws could then give you chronic neck pains.
These are all non fatal.
However if the fall on the chin sent a shock wave to the cranium you could have a concussion. If you have a headache, kringggggggg - RED ALERT, go to a doc, or the A&E immediately. Don't ever sleep it off.
