Is there anybody who has no life outside school, which also means school is the only place where you can actually socialise with others? Even at school, it's hard to make friends because of the introverted personality. Well, I'm one of the very rare sad cases where I find myself alone and lonely wherever I go. It doesn't help that I don't like the course that I'm taking at school but I'm already into my final year of polytechnic. Every day I go through the motions of waking up, eating and sleeping and even look forward to the same routine(except for school of course) to suppress my anxiety in life. I've absolutely no passion in life whatsoever and I'm finding it increasingly hard to get my work done. Has anybody felt this way?

hmm.. surely you have classmates? don't you talk to them? eat lunch with them? play pool/billiard? hmm do you do any sports? what are your hobbies? tell us more about what you do?
Shopping, eating out, going to the library a few things that I do as far as outdoor activities are concerned. I don't play sports (I'm very inactive in life). My hobbies are pitiful so I can only moan about school even though I've barely any distraction in life. I don't hang out with people I work with outside school and I don't take the initiative to call them up because I don't like to gossip.
since you go shopping as a past time, what kind of apparrels do you buy? and specific brands? do you dress up at all?
you don't play sports, what about your physical outlook? are you overweight since you enjoy eating out and not working out?
who says hang out with schoolmates or coursemates means gossip? surely some of them enjoys eating and shopping? why don't you check them out? I don't think there's gold in your mouth right?
you have so much time now to do what you want. go find a hobby or pick up a sport.
there are many people who don't like gossip. find those group of people and start hanging out with them.
Live your life as if everyday is your last. Grab the opportunities that pass you by.
Don't waste it on little things. Don't hesistant too much.
Travel out of your comfort zone. The world is bigger than it seems.
Whoever say that you can't live alone. Yes, it might be lonely but nobody ever dies from loneliness. You could a still lead an exciting life if you wanted to. Let me ask you one thing what has anybody done for you that you can't do for yourself.
Passion is what you have to create for yourself. IMHO you just have to believe in yourself more. Why care about the thoughts of others, not to the extent of being insensitive of course. What i meant was do not be bother by others
What cApitaland say is true pick up a sports, which will bring many benefits. For example be healthy will make you look better which in turn will give you more confidence.
go n add facebook, knoe more people or come her to join outings, knoe more people lo. if u dun want to be lonely then just got know more ppl then. actually sometimes being alone is not such a bad thing after all
Go and get a part time job lar .

i guess maybe TS is introvert. last time in sec sch i used to be like that too. i go school, go home, watch tv , sleep then the next day start again.i'm always alone at home, no one to talk to until i have to talk to myself all the time, tv and computer is my companion. it's ust a phase of life that people have to go through to learn to make new friends, go out hang out.

Everyone is born without friends . So u have to go out and make friends yourself dont be shy

i think another suggestion to TS is that you can go do some volunteer work as well. when you fous on others rather than yourself, you will realise that your problems will grow more dim n dim
