    • hi guys. i'm new around here. sorry if im suppose to post this somewhere else.

this is my problem, hope someone around will have a solution to it =)

      thanks in advance.

I'm 18 this year. Used to have soft & nice straight hair when I was younger. Maybe around at the age of 10. But things start to go for a change when i apply too much of gel. And I think I haven't really effectively remove those gel when i get home. This carried on for months and slowly i find that my hair start to become spoiled, the straightness of the hair strands is not longer there, it seem to coil up like a wire. The whole head of hair seems spoiled. & I'm clueless on how to get back to the past condition type. And also, i find that, after this happened, alot of dandruff start to come off. At times, when i scratch my scalp, i find dandruff with bits of redish blood.

Anyone knows what's wrong with my hair/scalp? I'm clueless.

How am I suppose to get my hair like before? Someone help pls!

    • Seek professional help...maybe you could also check on the shampoo that you're using? Sometimes its too caustic and it can cause irritation to the scalp...and do you wash your hair using your nails? because its possible that you scratch your scalp when you're applying it on your hair and massaging it...

    • lol. I ever thought of that too. But how much will it cost? I'm 18, & still schooling. Doesnt really have much cash actually.

    • the best way, you cut botak first, let it grow back out again..

don't go those centre unless u really that desperate and have too much money.

the scalp irritation probably you did try to use a lot of different hair products? did u scratched too hard when u wash your hair?

cut botak, let your scalp breathe a little. go sun tan, let the natural sun kill the germs on ur head..

imagine your scalp is full of small cuts/openings, using more of those hair products will make it worse.. don't wait.. cut now!

then don't scratch la! you know u scratched too hard.. it's itchy I guess.. hmm.. you want it well better exercise self control soon.. imagine you enlist and BMT everyone cut botak.. you won't want to create some panic or kenna some rude nicknames labelled on u right..

don't want all these to happen, better control your scratchin, wrong is STOP the scratching.. cut botak one more time.. this time don't scratch it. reduce the amount of moisture hiding in ur hair.. keep it dry and before long, it'll be okay~! if really cannot make it, you should go doctor first then those commercial centres.

    • go to ur family doctor.. let him/her recommend you to specialist or what at skin centre.. medical help is definitely better than commercial help. If not you can try poly clinic also can refer you to hospitals.. might be cheaper also..

hope you'll be relieved from your low confidence soon!

Do you have Constipation or hard feces?

Vitamin B can help, but you need to increase you "benefit bacteria", let you body  benefit bacteria produce Vitamin B group, with vitamin B you can repair your skin and hair.

to up your benefit bacteria, you need to take soy oligosaccharide daily and with good shampoo it help.

medicine only short term!<-- it may harm your body in long run...

    • have the bleeding scalp problem before.

      first.

stop scratching. i know its hard, but as the others have mentioned, u need more self control. you can stroke with ur finger tips, but NEVER scratch with ur nails.

no scratch = no cuts = no bleeding = problem solved.

regarding ur hair problem, since the curling of hair is an after effect of using hair gel, u should be able to grow out straight hair when you stop using hair gel.

if ur problems still persist, better go see a doctor, before you start to go bald. i'm serious. some people scratch until their follicles get damage, causing hair loss.

    • pft. I’m willing to put myself out on a limb and say with a large degree of certainty i have the most beautiful hair of any SGF member. Ignore these mere hair-plebs. The secret is less, not more. Use the most simple shampoo you can find and no conditioner – what I use comes in 2 litre tubs for 26p… let it dry naturally/with a towel none of this blow drying crap, and brush gently. et voila.

as for your current head of hair if you’ve ruined it there’s not much you can do… it’s like permanently dying it lime green – you’re gonna regret what you’ve done but there’s nothing you can do til it grows out except cut it off.
