Hello People :D
I am extremely worried because of my cca. I have not been attending it for months. Yes, you got it right. 2 months in fact. The problem is I AM LAZY. I am in scouts and you all know that Uniform groups are very hectic and lots of PT. What makes matter worst is that I am obese. I am like standing at 90+Kg and really find it difficult to cope with the footdrills and so on. I just can't balance and at the end get a earful from the Sirs. I am worried because i intend to go to a prestigious JC and get a Scholarship for my dream university in UK but they require a excellent CCA Record. I just feel like quitting scouts and taking up some Photography club or light stuff but i still like scouts because it's fun .
PLEASE help me in this mind-breaking dilemma :D
THANKS A MILLION !
which unit u from?
sians..u sec what? i joined band whn i was in sec 1 then i nvr go for it at all. I kena scolded like fuck but i oso like heck care,i dont like to go means i dont like to go lor, what can they do ![]()
why not go talk to your teacher
or just go with your interest
i go = kana scolded, nv go also kana scolded
Let me put this bluntly....
With this heck care attitude you have displayed towards your CCA in particular and your laziness in general....
....forget about the scholarship. The psychometric test will stop you. Really.
if u are thinking about getting into JC by cca, i think suan le la..
study better la.. whats the point of getting 15pts for L1R5 and get into RJ thru cca and flunk ur way thru?
What's the fun of going to a PRESTIGIOUS jc?
It's your A lvl that matters.
And only you can determine that.
wanna go prestigious jc, u need good grades, don't ever rely on cca.
dat being said, u still need cca for scholarships and stuff...
just particpate in others activities that scout has to offer.. take that uniform group provide u with a good CCA and perhaps a good testimonal.

from this post, I think you're a prick .....
I hope you'd never get a public scholarship, cos I don't want my tax dollars to be spent on someone like you ....
I've seen obese people who can do drills. I think it's just a matter of practice and mindset. In NS obese people also have no choice but to do drills as well. So why they can u cannot?
U've alrdy said that ur weight is a problem. So jolly well go for the PT sessions and lose some weight. If not NS come u also die.
ah pui! time to slim down lah, why carry 90kg around, reduce it and you feel great and sexy too.

So encouraging.
Go to the teacher in charge and tell the person!
OK, you are fearful of getting poor cca records and you are scare that you cannot cope with the CCA , plus you are 90kg. That make it harder for you right?
Are you sure that that you will get a good record if you change your cca. you worrying too much!
calm down!
just continue with your current CCA and talk to the teacher in charge

same thought, haha
kids.... ![]()
i got a feeling this will go newspaper reh....lols
Get excellent grades and above-average CCA records.
Don't over-invest in the CCA department; it's not worth it.
Learn how to handle interviews and interact wisely with people who matter (e.g. teachers who will write you glowing letters of recommendation, employers who are going to decide whether to give you a job, etc.)
Aya as long as ur studies good u want go overseas also can .
CCA usless one

I did bad enough not to qualify for RJ, but I appealed through CCA.
But in the end, didn't flunk my way through ![]()
