Singaporeans are generally complacent. The danger of this is that it affects us not only in our career advancement, but also in terms of our romance i.e. our bgr.
Example:
In the world of work, a lot of big companies lose their competitive edge that comes from hard work, research, planning, taking risks, because they become too comfortable and and stop looking for innovative ways to stay ahead of competition.
In a relationship, a couple loses that spark they get when they first started off a romance because they get too comfortable as time goes by. They stop wanting to get to know each other better and stop trying out new things, hence their relationship stale and instead of looking into their relationship, they mistakenly think that the "pasture is greener on the other side." Therefore, the vicious cycle of unfulfillment no matter what relationship they land themselves in.
Do you agree?
* during school they teach don't have relation*
so in work place.. also same mind set..
so lol...
not necessary sg people only ah, other country people also mah
Humans in general are always complacent. When we're young, we rush at breckneck speed into the future, as we get older and time goes by, it's gone and replaced by the regret of adulthood.
Taiwan also.. dun worry. hahaha

Don't you realise that it's all reverse psychology?
Reverse psychology are best known to use for encouragement.
So when they say don't, you will subconsciously be encouraged to have relationships.
What took you this long to figure it out?

That's only valid if Singaporeans understands the meaning of love.
Would you like to do this interesting and shocking survey by asking Singaporeans what do they think is the meaning of their "love"?
I guaranteed you will be laughing till you will be falling over your chair.

I think in many things in life... it's quite similar also rt?
E.g. 1 - New job: first few months, very on the ball. After a while, slack. Years later, backside itchy & look for new job.
E.g. 2 - New car: first few months up to a year, every day sayang car. Check for scratches every day. Some time later, sian liao... wanna change car.
Of course, some things are more impt than others. In a relationship, the challenging part is to rekindle the relationship with new excitement. Can u think of any examples?

Why not have it better for ourselves? By examining core issues and working on ourselves.

Pardon me (my next few questions might be thought-provoking), so does this also mean an ok-to-do gf means an ok-to-do relationship? In time, when passion dies down, will you accept it as an 'ok' process instead of truly examining why? Will you try your ass off to re-ignite the fire or would you think it's silly to even try any 'antics' at all because it has never been heard of and will make you look funny? Do you think the girl you like would want to have such an 'ok' relationship?
And when an 'ok' relationship is not 'ok' (we all know that it's common for men and women to have differences and conflict), are the men and women going to have roving eyes for other people out there, extreme dissatisfaction in a relationship, anger and boredom at each other, even without physically straying away from the relationship?

So you don't mind if your son/daughter ends up looking like you+your no need so pretty wife?
So you don't mind if their intelligence ends up equalling like you+your don't need so smart wife?
Are you trying to comfort yourself or you are just plain selfish?

there are alot of people outside there.. brought into the world with Aids, Lost of 1 legs or arm.. or borned mentally retarded
Clever or not is depend on the person.. how the parents taught the kids to grow up..
if you have the mind set of what u haven written is totally wrong.. and has even failed as a parents without being one.
so next time u have a ugly kid are you going to kill them?

"Clever or not is depend on the person.. how the parents taught the kids to grow up.." --------> Don't be naive can or not?
Nobody is born with equal intelligence, do you need to seek a second opinion to agree?
At least it seems to me that you have a higher possibility to have ugly kids as of this moment.
I also believe that one person need to step out of his/her comfort zone to experience breakthroughs. Therefore it is the mindset of the person that determines that future
girls at least still can run helter skelter to the ang mohs.
