Power of cursing

Do you believe in the power of curses?
Or do you think people who believe the curse will work belongs in IMH?
Was the zoo cleaner cursed?

It only works if you are a really a better person than the people you have cursed.
IF not, your curses WILL bounce back onto you.

Hehe when I read the title of this thread I thought u were using 'cursing' as in swearing or making rude comments.

GOD will JUDGE.But you should have a clear idea who is the better person before you even consider cursing others and put your own life/fate/destiny on the line.
If you don't have a clear idea of who is the better person, then maybe you will know when your own curses bounced back to you.
I always believed the Dark cannot see/stand the Light, but the Light can always shine out the Dark.

I believe words have power.. to heal or to kill, to build, or to destroy.
"whoever you bind on earth, will be bound in heaven, whoever you release on earth, will be released in heaven"
i believe if you keep saying stuff like " i'm stupid, i'm never going to make it, i'm always going to be a loser" or "why my children always so stupid, why my children always fail..." etc
is going to have a spiritual impact on them.
but i don't believe in like witch doctors, poking-needles-into-dolls kinda curses.. because.. i believe i am protected

yup, i believe that there are such things as curses ah.. christians believe in generational curses etc.
and generally, i believe all christians have the authority in christ to break curses, do delieverance etc, but not everyone have it in them to believe that they can do it. it all still boils down to faith level.
i also believe that there are ppl who can employ dark powers to perform miracles and curses, but ultimately, they cannot curse those whom God has not cursed.

but the cursing will come at the final judgement lor. for those who are eternally seperated from God. =(
i think generally.. ppl see curses as active curses like.. God curse ppl etc. But the truth is.. curses come when God isn't with the person. The moment God withdraw His protection and presence, curses come automatically. I see curses as.. a result of God hiding His presence, or a blockage of His blessing, rather than... active voodoo kinda thing?

I don't believe in cursing though.
It seems like such a stupid approach to solve problems. you think someone deserves to be cursed, go do something about it. cursing is more for the weak old ladies who cannot do anything about it except to hit an effigy with her slipper to vent her anger.
not only weak, but supersitious too, and in the twenty first century, to curse people repeatedly is both childish and stupid behavior, and believing that alot of people cursing one person will bring about his downfall is just spreading rumours and degrading our civilization to the medieval ages.
if curses en masse works, Hitler would probably have burst into flames 2 hours after he pissed off both the russians and americans, earning their full wraith.

when i was in NS a guy beside me told me bruce lee died because he offended a powerful bomoh who cursed him to death.
i didn't know how to reply to him except to just nod my head and kept saying "oh" and "orrrr"
